Product does not work
I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered my "free" bottle. It is an absolute scam. Now I have charges on my credit card for something I did not order. They will not give me a refund. The product did not work.

Slamming
Originally I saw an add for purity 12 for an "free sample order" so I went through the process, on line, and it was suggested that this product worked more effectively with a particular tea of which I had to pay for along with shipping charges, fine, so I placed order. Upon reciept of my order my wife suggested that I reconsider using either product, this was due to mu medical conditions. I spoke with my doctor and he laughed and told me that these were not as effective as claimed to be, so I returned both items. AND then a month later I recieve and e-mail notifying me that my order was on the way and when it arrived my wife said to me, "are you nuts", I thought you had returned this stuff and were not going to order any more. I "DID NOT ORDER" this latest shipment and when I contacted Purity 12 thet were very congenial and explained that when I placed my first order that I must have neglected to read the "FINE PRINT" that stated I would continue to recieve shipments until I canceled. I informed them that my first order was a "TRIAL SAMPLE" and it was returned unopened and I will return the latest product in am unopened condition and expected a refund for the "electronic withdrawal" from my bank account. They stated that, again, I should have read the no return policy and refused to refund my $74.95.
There are several companies that use this sort of ploy in the hopes that the consumer will neglect to monitor bank activities. As I stated my original order was for a "FREE TRIAL SAMPLE" so why would a rational person with any kind of intelligence submit to an "on going" subscription without first trying the "free sample". This is why I consider this sort of activity to be a "SLAMMING ABUSE". I feel that if Purity 12 cannot and will not refund an individuals money upon return of any "unopened" product that they should be prosecuted by means of a Class Action Law suit.
Any one out there with similar circumstances and with the ability to persue such a law suit should take this up simply because that the practice by which these companies "hook, slam, rip off" shoud be against the law.

Unethical
I too ordered a trial sample of Purity 12, for $4.99 - I took those pills for a few weeks and they did absolutely NOTHING for me. I just received another bottle in the mail and my checking account was charge $74.00. Once I called to cancel this order I was told it was too late to be credited back the money but that from this day forward I will not be charged or sent any more pills again...I hope they are correct with this because if I get charged again, I am going to take legal action.

Taking money out of my account
I just got off the phone w/Connie ID #5020. I told her I wasn't satisfied w/the product, my account was charged 2 times plus some overdraft fees and she was SO smug that I had read the contract (basically it was my problem now) and it was a legally binding contract so there was NOTHING I could do about it. My bank wouldn't give me back my money and the attorney general would do nothing about it either. THESE PEOPLE ARE GETTING RICH AND THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT. FOR ALL YOU PEOPLE THINKING ABOUT TRYING THIS PRODUCT DON'T. IT WILL JUST GIVE YOU AN UPSET STOMACH AND SOME DIARRHEA!!!
Connie, I hope you and all the people who work for this company get screwed some day, just like you screwed me and probably thousands of people like me. I also hope that you lose your job because people will come to realize this is a SCAM!

Unauthorized Charges
This company says they will send you a free trial what they don't tell you is that if you don't call in 12 days your free trial goes to a change of $74.00. How is that a free trial. They send you a 30 day trial but after 12 days they charge you then how is it a free trial. And the customer service is as usless as the product. Buyer beware of these comapnies that scam you. They say it is on the website but I can't find it anywhere. This company should be ashamed of itself!!

biggest scam ever
This is the biggest scam ever. I was able to get ahold of the company and they were so rude. This is what they do to people. You will end up paying over 80.00 for a sample bottle of product! This is so wrong. They should be charged for fraud for everyone they have ripped off.

FRAUD CHARGES ON CREDIT CARD
I purchased a TRIAL of the purity 12 product and was told that all I would pay would be the SHIPPING fee of 7.95 so I could try it. I gave them my credit card information to pay for the shipping fee and was NOT TOLD on the phone that I had to reply back to them within 2 weeks of receiving the product if I wanted TO CANCEL and avoid PAYING the FULL PRICE OF the product - which is $74.95 per bottle. Since I did not know that - I did not reply to them within the 2 weeks and was charged for the full price of $74.95 two 2 months in a row, beginning on 4/24/09 and then again on 5/24/09. I contacted them and spoke with a regular customer service rep, and then to a supervisor and was TOLD by them that I DID NOT READ THE INFORMATION AGREEING TO THE TERMS. First of all, IF the information was there - then it was HIDDEN in the FINE PRINT and I missed it. THIS IS FRAUD a very DISHONEST way to charge customers an OUTRAGEOUS price of $74.95 twice for a tiny bottle of supplements that don't even work. I want a CREDIT issued and They refused. I NEED HELP TO GET MY CREDIT.
