I ordered a dvd recorder from this company, stated as new (never saw anything to state it was refurbished etc) for the cost of £44.99 and free post, i recieved the item in very scruffy box, the front of the dvd recorder was broken and it didnt even work!

After numerous emails and calls to the company with no reply i eventually got through by phone to only be told he could not deal with it as he was sales and to email and they would reply immediately...i got no reply and days later i finally got a reply to say it was strange it was faulty as they are checked in store and it was probably dropped!

Anyway after being told to return the item at my cost of £11.77! recorded delivery i still had no reply, i waited another week and sending an email each day they finally replied with the obvious irritation of my numerous emails and stated that the more i email the longer it would be and they would check the dvd recorder and get back to me in 7 days...stilll nothing and it is now 28th may, i contacted trading standards and was told to write a formal letter of rejection of the goods and i required a refund and reply within 14 days...guess what? no reply

I dont know where else to turn now as trading standards say they cant help now and its a case for the small claims court which obviously with be more cost to me

I feel totally ripped off by this company as i am 'dvdless' '£44.99 less' and £11.77 for postage less'.
