VISA PROCESSING FORMALITIES/CONTACT DETAILS OF THE
BRITISH IMMIGRATIONS.

The Hard Copies of your Confidential Invitation Letter and other Supporting Documents has been sent to the British Immigration Service for their review and verification.
Kindly note the following Points:

1. PROCESSING OF U.K WORK PERMIT VISA

Job applicants MUST contact the ALEX CHAMBERS who are the company’s legal adviser in conjunction with the UK Home Office on Immigration Matters for the requirements and cost details for processing the U.K Work Permit Visa and other supporting documents that will be needed for entry into London. All Contacts SHOULD be made immediately as late application will be detrimental and QATAR AIRWAYS will not hesitate to revoke these opportunities as there are lots of Job applicants interested in this opportunity.

BELOW ARE THE CONTACT DETAILS OF THE COMPANY’S LEGAL ADVISER.

Alex Chambers
Contact Person: Barr. Roe James
HEAD OF VISA OPERATIONS.
E-mail:[email protected]
MOBILE: +447024011807

2. RE-SCHEDULE OR EXTENSION OF JOINING DATE.

Job applicants MUST meet and submit all Visa requirements to the British Immigration Service before any request for re-schedule or extension of joining date can be granted. Applicants MUST note that we will never grant such requests unless all Visa formalities MUST have been met.

Applicants who do not require Visa to enter the U.K MUST submit their Flight ticket fees to the British Immigration Service for the booking and purchase of their flight from London city.
Applicants are to note that meeting all Visa requirements of the British Immigration Service guarantees QATAR AIRWAYS of applicant's seriousness and commitment to work for us.

3. APPLYING DIRECTLY TO THE U.K EMBASSIES WORLD-WIDE

It has come to our notice that most applicants prefer to apply directly to the U.K Embassies in their various locations and when they make applications, their Visas are usually denied especially Job applicants from Africa, Asia and the Middle East. When such visa applications are denied, it takes approximately 90 days to re-apply or make a second application and during this time, the Company will not be patient or wait for such an applicant, we usually revoke their offers immediately and recruit some other applicants.

Hence, to ensure that you pass through a hassle free Visa application process to the U.K, We have affiliated with the Local Immigration & Visa office here in London, the British Immigration Service. They will assist you with the Visa application, processing of U.K Work permit and other relevant Insurance and Travel packages that will be required for your legal entry into the United Kingdom.

Making an application with the ALEX CHAMBERS guarantees your Visa approval and in a lesser time as compared with applications made directly to the U.K Embassies. Once they get all your necessary papers processed, they will fax copies of the same to the U.K Embassy in applicants Country of location and such an applicant will be prompted on when to visit the embassy with his/ her passport for the Visa stamp. This is the easiest process for International employees to meet up with Migration Formalities and join us as soon as possible.

4. IMMIGRATION EXPENSES, FLIGHT TICKETS & OTHER EXPENSES

Job applicants MUST bear costs for their Immigration expenses and submit receipts of payment(s) for the purpose of reimbursement. For no reason should Job applicants request that we shoulder such costs as such requests will certainly be turned down.

This is sequel to our past experiences we had with some Job applicants from Africa, Asia and the Middle East where QATAR AIRWAYS shouldered all their Immigration expenses, paid them their Upfront Salaries and till this time, None of these applicants showed up. The contact numbers and emails they submitted are out of use at this time, we are currently battling this case with their various embassies in London and the case is on hearing at the London City Crown Court.

For this reason, the Management Board revised her International Recruitment Policies which entails that all Job applicants MUST bear all travel costs and on arrival to London, present receipts of payments made and will be reimbursed accordingly. Any applicant who finds this unbearable should forfeit this opportunity immediately.

5. RE-REIMBURSEMENT OF IMMIGRATION EXPENSES, HEALTH CHECKUP & OTHER EXPENSES

All expenses made by Job applicants will be fully reimbursed on arrival to London or if applicants meet all Immigration requirements, we will send the Salary & Reimbursement application Forms for applicants to complete and return to our Accounts department for approval. Once approved, we will authorize our Bank to transfer funds to any Bank Account designated by such an applicant.

6. JOB DESCRIPTION, HOTEL ACCOMMODATION AND FEEDING

All details pertinent to this Job Offer, duties and responsibilities will be made available to applicants on arrival to London for the Orientation/ Training Program.

However, Hotel reservations/ Accommodation and Feeding will be our full responsibility.

7. ORIENTATION/ TRAINING PROGRAMME

There will be a mandatory Orientation/Training Program on Newly Employed staff is expected to immediately get their Travel documents and Visa ready at least a week before this date to ensure that they meet up with time.

double charging policy
I had a terrible experience with Qatar Airways. Purchased 2 tickets Madrid/Bangkok and return on the internet with my credit card. When we were about to embark they asked for the original credit card - which I did not have on me, and forced me to purchase 2 new tickets. Over 1 month is gone now and they are seating on my cash - because of course both credit cards/banks paid them in full. Now they claim they are still analysing the situation because of some 'security' issues and are postponing the refund of the extra ticket. Stay away from them, there are other cheap alternatives out there and unless you are prepared to pay business/first there is nothing special about their service and their hub terminal is a basic old fashioned facility.

manager ahmedabad office
qatar airways

dear mr. kaushik,
my wife jignasaben taggarsi and i, dr, anand taggarsi boarded qatar airways flight QR 84 on 12th june at jfk. seats 37j and 37h.
we landed at doha and then boarded QR282 at doha for ahmedabad on 13th june seats 27d and 27f.
at the gate no.10 the staff on duty insisted that we check in our cabin baggage as the flight was full. i am a diabetic and one of the bags contained my medicines. i could not check in that bag.
so he insisted that i should check in the other 2 bags.
i agreed to check in one bag but requested him to allow me to take the other bag in as it was a gift bag from the duty free area at the airport and it contained only 3 bottles of black label johny walker whisky.
i said that the whisky bottles may break if checked in. he insisted on checking in the bag and said that the airline staff is very careful and assured me that nothing would happen.
the baggage tag was GATE BAG 4 157 QR 898301.
ON RECEIVING THE BAG AT THE S.V.P. AIRPORT, AHMEDABAD, THE BAG WAS SMELLING OF LIQUOR AND WET WHEN TAKEN OFF THE BELT. WE FOUND ONE OF THE BOTTLES BROKEN.
the staff at svpa was most uncooperative and insisted that qatar airways was in no way responsible.
ms. khushbu and mr. karan refused to give me your contact number and on my insistence that you should be informed about the incident, reluctantly took down the details and took photos on their mobile phone.
i have waited all these days for a feedback and doubt whether you have been informed.
both my wife and i were very upset by the treatment meted out to us inspite the fact that we travel regularly by qatar to jfk every year.
i am fighting/complaining as a matter of principle as the loss is 33+$ as compared to the rs. 100, 000 that we have spent on our tickets.
till now we were very happy with qatar but this time after the credit card refund experience and this one to add, we feel ill treated.
probably qatar may not care for a routine economy class customer but for us its spending our hard earned money for a vacation gone all wrong.
your rules are so self protecting that i feel helpless except to protest by email and receive a mere apology that too doubtful.
yours truly

bribery in the check in counter
Sir,
I always fly from Qatar Airways whenever I go on a holiday back to my country Nepal. But I always have to face a problem in Tribhuwan International Airport regarding weight issues for the baggages. The people who are in the check in counter always make issues regarding baggage weight and take bribes from the innocent passengers. I was once again a victim of these fraud people in the Tribhuwan International Airport, Nepal as they started to fuss about my extra four(4) kgs. They took about Fifteen hundred (R.S 1500) Nepalese rupees bribe to let me go through . The ticket counter whose name is Ashish Bhattarai was the main culprit and the other one named as Badri Thapa. They wouldn't let any of the passengers with any extra weights of One(1) kg go through without taking bribes. This is not the first time it has happened to me. I was forced to give them bribe back on august too. When I travelled back from london Heathrow I enquired regarding extra kg's of weight that passengers were allowed from the counter and the qatar airways staffs at the time told me that passengers were allowed a maximum of 5 kg's. When i spoke about these to the qatar airways staff Mr Ashish Bhattrai in the airport he started laughing and told me he wouldn't let me go through with the extra weights and i had to pay him and his collegue Mr Badri Thapa extra Fifteen hundred Nepalese Rupees.
It is such a bad thing for we passengers who always fly from Qatar Airways and hope that this incidents will stop in Tribhuwan International airport and the guilty people in the airport will be punished for their deeds.

CABIN CREW PHOTOS
I would like to report female cabin crew trainees hired april and may 2011. They have facebook accounts with pictures in 2 piece swimsuits and provocative poses. This goes against the code of conduct of Qatar Airways that they should not have any photos posted in public of such provocativeness. Said trainees have read, understood agreed to and signed the code of conduct. They should know better. Someone should tell Qatar Airways management to check on said trainees facebook accounts so as not to damage the company's good reputation. I need to get this report through management. I hope someone can help me. Thanks.. I do not want to name names as I have seen the photos myself but rather I want the company to check and see for themselves so that they can take the necessary acction.. I have heard of cabin crew's getting terminated for facebook photos posted years ago. I hope the company will take action

Flight rescheduled without asking
I was originally booked on the 30th Flight from Bangalore to Houston via Doha, The airlines rescheduled my tickets for 31st May without informing me. When I called Qatar customer service they blamed me for not updating my telephone number when I booked my tickets. I questioned them saying iam a privileged member & they have all my details for which they had no answer. The reason for rescheduling my tickets was that the airlines had scheduled delay of flight & they knew I would miss my flight in Doha & they need to spend lot of money, instead they rescheduled my flight for 24 hours late take off from Bangalore. when I came to know about this I requested them to route my ticket Via Chennai or Mumbai so that I could still reach USA on schedule for which they asked me to pay extra money & also buy my own tickets from Bangalore. Instead of compensating for my delay they made me feel that I was at fault & the customer service was so rude mentioning I need to keep calling them since they have only inbound calls & no outbound calls. They refused to even connect me to the supervisor or the manager. I have decided not to again travel with Qatar, very bad service

lack of any responsibilty
Think twice if you should have a complaint about Qatar Airways.
I was flying back to London from Doha when the FA gave me a very hot cup of tea but then she knocked it over my leg!!! The FA gave me a towel with ice and then about 1.1/2 hours later gave me a very small sachet of burn cream then for the remaining 4 hours basically ignored me!! This accident resulted in a burn to my leg which was very painful for about 3 days.
When I complained about this at heathrow (Qatar) they were most insistant I email to Qatar to explain.
I send an account of what happened and they emailed me to say sorry but I did it myself???????
So it seems the FA.s tell lies and Qatar Airways simply ignore everything except the good comments.
Obviously I have emailed again to ask how they reached this decision and again submitted a detailed account of what happened but naturally they never replied ... they really do not care about the passengers... THINK TWICE before flying with Qatar Airways

Poor Service
on 17/4/11 we flew out of Manchester to Bali via Doha. On arrival at Manchester we wanted to upgrade our ticket to business class for my wife and I. Even though there was space available trhey said it was too late to pay for it and could only upgrade from Doha to Bali due to a 7 hour wait for the connection. Once we arrived in Doha we spoke to the Qatar desk who confirmed seats available for us, they gave us the price of £5, 000 which we wanted to go ahead with. Surprisingly they said if we book this it will cancel our return flights thus having to buy a new flight to get home. After 10 minutes of explaining how rediculous this is, and no other airline does this they are happy with the cash! We got on the 2nd leg to Bali and decided to make a complaint about this in writing through their customer feedback form. We requested a response within 3 weeks prior to our departure from Bali. Typical of all large compaines we have not heard a thing, no acknowledgement of our complaint either. So i did the same on the flight back and unsurprisingly heard nothing again!!! How on earth have they received 5* without bribing Skytrax????

I will never use this airline again!

Lost Baggage
I flew out for Damacus International Airport(DIA) heading to Bangkok. I had a brief layover in Doha about 1hr and a half, sufficient time to transfer the baggage. I arrived in Bangkok, NO luggage. It later became clear to me that the woman host working for Qatar Airways never placed a transfer sticker on my baggage. Further when confirming my flight she was really rude and bend a page in my passport. I pointed out her behavior and she just ignored me. Qatar Airways please hire people that are courteous and equip to complete the task assigned.
