Horrible Rooms
This hotel is the worst place I have ever been to in my entire life. My room was infested with roaches and the front desk attendant did nothing about it. He was well aware of the problem and didnt find it to be a big deal. I would not recommend staying at Quality Inn & Suites to anybody unless you are ok sleeping with roaches on your pillow. This place should be shut down...

dirty hotel
The non smoking handi capped room reeked of air freshener. There was blood or shit on the tolit roll holder. the place was dirty. The refrigerator white grateing was chiped and pealing and needed replacing. The continal breakfast was wrotting fruit and expired yougart in dirty refrigerator as I looked. Overall I would not allow my dog to stay there. They also displayed the AAA aproval proudly on the check out desk where the abusive check out person was. They quoted me 69 over the phone and charaged 90 when I booked threw you. It as a horrible experiance and I expeced better from someone you approved with 2 stars...Well...it is not even worth 1...

dirty bedding
We checked in and went for dinner .After returning my husband took his shoer to get ready for bed.I then took my shower and may i say..not the most desirable bathroom.When I went back in the room to go to bed I took the bedspread off and saw a nice comforter.I saw something and looked closer finding dirty paw prints on the comforter.Well, I decided since we were not dressed and ready for bed I would tell the desk in the morning.So I turned the other bed down to find another dirty comforter.It had scibbles on it and no better.Neither had been washed or spot treated or they wouldnt have looked like they did.I do lots of laundry and can tell when something is dirty.Not a very good nights rest.When I checked out I told the guy at the desk and his comment was..thanks for telling me I'll tell housekeeping.I felt that was not suffecient.

Severe mistreatment
We held a family reunion here July 10- July 12. Our family had a block of reserved rooms. I was one of the hostesses of the reunion. I checked into the motel around 10 am on July 10th. I tried at that time to check in my two children and families and to pay for the whole weekend. I was told I would have to pay when we checked out. My daughter and family arrived around 2 pm and had no problems. My son arrived around 8pm and they had not only given his room away (which I had guaranteed) but they had no rooms left. They said they had tried to call me but my husband was in the room the whole time and NO ONE called. They said my credit card had been rejected. I had recently been issued a new credit card with a new number because my card had been suspected of being exposed to fraudulent activity. The credit card company sent me a new card and closed the old account through no fault of my own. I explained this when I checked in. I had made the reservations with the old card that had been closed. So I gave my new credit card to them at the desk. They failed to put in the new number. When my son was denied a room they were very rude to him and wouldn't even explain the problem until he called me. I was out to dinner, but left immediately to try to rectify the problem. When I went to the front desk, the clerk was also rude to me and kept saying it was my fault because my credit card was denied. They were using the old number that had indeed been closed. Only after I requested to talk to the manager did the clerk become more friendly. He was gone so she called him at home. He told me the same thing, that there was nothing he could do but he would look into it in the morning. I told him that this was the second reunion my family had held here and I could assure him we would take our business elsewhere in the future. I was very upset! The manager did return and brought my son back from the hotel he had been sent to. He however, gave him a room that had a shower and air=conditioner that didn't work. Then he acted like he did me a favor. I feel like I should not even have had to pay for that horrible room. Unless Quality Inn does something in the way of an apology, we will never stay at one again. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Not a Great Place to Stay
The Quality Inn hotel in Carrollton is not the best place to spend the night when visiting Carrollton, Georgia. The room was uncomfortable and the guest who stayed at the hotel was very loud.

The employees at the hotel are very helpful in helping you get checked in and the parking lot was clean and there were good parking near my room. My biggest complaint is that the guest who spent the night there. I spent the night there on July 3, 2009 and there was a youth baseball team spending the night there because of a baseball tournament happening somewhere in Carrollton/West Georgia Area. The team was very loud and I could hear people talking outside my room all night from 10 PM until 2 AM. I didn’t sleep well as a result and I could not wait to leave the hotel.

Would I recommend this hotel? I would not recommend this hotel if you are solo traveler or traveling with your family. It’s a good place to spend the night if you are traveling with a group. If you are spending the night in Carrollton, try to spend the night at the Holiday Inn, the Hampton Inn or the Jameson Inn or drive 20 minutes north to Bremen and spend the night at one of the many hotels in Bremen. Although the hotel cost around $60.00 a night with a room with a refrigerator and a microwave, try to spend the night elsewhere if you can.

Harissment
My Husband, our two kids 7-months and 18-months went on a vacation up to nebraska for a couple of days to see my family and then go to iowa to see his family we had planed on staying three nights and i wonted a hotel with a pool in nebraska. We also went because my brother just had a new baby. So we get this room #224 and we found out after my husband had smoked one ciggeret in the room that it was a none smoking hotel. the front desk failed to tell him that or even give him a recipet for the cash we had paid. We got in about 11:30pm. So my husband went out side to smoke the rest of the time. the room was great for two days. we went swiming in the tinny pool. We left a do not disturbe sign on the door so i wouldent have any problem with anybody coming in the room and taking things. Well the day check out came. Me and my husband picked up the room and pilled the pizza boxes on the desk along with the breckfest i had brought up that morning. Our 17 month old had got a chunck of muffin on the floor that we tried to pick up. all it needed was vacumed. Any ways we had asked the maid if the room was ok and if it was ok that we leave the keys in the room. She had replied yes. So we left went to Arbys down the road to eat and got done eating and Four cop cars pulled up behind us and asked for our id's my husband asked why. They told us that we did not pay the hotel and for vandilisom. We replied WHAT? So they ran our id's and then took us back over to the hotel to figure things out. We got there they put my husband in hand coffes and talked to him out the room. They said they found a note that said somthing like this "We took out the trash, and kicked your asses. HA HA HA HA HA" also found some kind of empty sandwich bag. The cop showed them both to me and i told him we did not write that note. and i dont know where that bag came from. The cops were therenting my husband by saying that we have to pay $600 in dameges and then we could go other wise you will go to jail and so will your wife and the kids will get put in DHS custady. all we had for the whole trip was $500. I went up and looked at the room. Some one (the MAID) had went in the room and knocked over all of all trash cans and knocked the pizza boxes and everything that i had all nice and stacked up for them to just bring a trash can in there. Also Some one (THE MAID) had took a 3/4 full cup of coffee that my brother had left from McDonalds that morning half was dumped on one bed and the other half was dumped on the other bed. I told the Cops that this room was not like this when we left. The said "what. who do you think did it THE MAIDS". I said i dont know who did it but it was not us. We drove over 600 miles to see my family and we got treated like this. We ended up paying $350.00 before we could leave. The Quality Inn asked us not to come back. Belive me we wont and i will tell everybody a bout the quality inn because that was rediculis. I have staid at may hotels big and small and have never had someone do this to me. I feel robbed and violiated. From know on i will bring the maniger up there and take pictures of before and after. So that really screwed our vacation up. We left nebraska write away after that. We haded seen our family in over a year and to be accused of something like that that i dident do is wrong and i have more respect for hotels than that. I use to work at one. I dont know there reasening but they did it not us.

Noise,Threats,No Assistance
On June 15, 2009 My Mother and I traveled from Illinois to Morehead, Kentucky because of a family tragedy. Upon our arrival we chose to stay at this Motel and rent 2 rooms. (120 and 108) were rented to us. Room 108 wasn't even ready (no sheets/blankets) on bed, and 120 was worse. The noise was ungodly! I attempted to call and did to complain about whoever was making the noise and the assist. said he would take care of the noise. He didn't. I attempted to make another attempt by phone and my phone didn't work in the room 120 so I walked to the front desk and complained the noise was from room 119. Upon my return to room 120 a man walking into room 119 started threatening me with fist up and dancing around, "come on mother fucker" wanna be tough... No i responded just you guys have to turn down that noise. Mistake! I went to the front desk and again nothing was done!!

The next night, tonight, same thing (trouble).
The little bastard who wanted to start the fight (night before) was standing in front of lobby desk smoking a cigar and spouts out with, "whats your problem tonight" ? I don't have to answer you, I responded and i turned to the desk worker...can i be moved to another room? It's the noise...can't handle it.
Nope, he said. We're all booked up here and these are our construction workers who are staying...
That's a rip off I thought to myself!
I paid for these rooms on my girlfriends credit card and now this shit!!
And, the rooms weren't even ready. And, have to be in fear of getting assulted by Hotel workers and or other guest with no protection!

This is the absolute worst situation I've ever faced and A complaint is being made to the Better Business Bureau and A Private Atty.

I believe a refund is due and ordinances should be installed against this establishment to prevent further incidents from happening.

Bad service
On 9/1/08, my wife and I, who are seasoned travelers, checked into the Quality Inn & Suites in Torrington, CT. The first room we were assigned was next to a noisy laundry room around back of the motel. The room smelled musty. The bathroom had a large round (the size of a basketball) mildew/moldy patch on the ceiling above the tub. The room, although marked �Non Smoking�, smelled of stale smoke.

We requested another room, and were assigned one in a dark corner, which also smelled musty. This room too smelled of smoke even though it was �Non Smoking�. It also had a loose toilet seat that almost slid me onto the floor after snapping my back when I sat on it shortly after entering the room.

The third room assigned to us at first seemed acceptable. However, after being in the room for a short time, it became obvious that this room was terrible as far as our comfort and convenience were concerned. I have listed some of the things wrong with this room.

Bathroom

The bolts that were holding down the toilet were sticking up out of the floor about two inches, with no caps on them. This could cause someone�s foot to be cut open. The water level in the toilet was so high that it came in contact with one�s skin upon sitting on the seat. The tub had mold around most edges and joints, there were large chips in the porcelain, and the shower curtain was slimy. The floor had cracked and broken tiles. The sink was broken away from the wall and was sloping forward so nothing could be put on the back or the edges of the sink. The woodwork and door were scratched and stained.

Bedroom

The carpet was stained and dirty. There was much dust behind the nightstands and under the desk. The windows were dirty, the iron holder was broken out of the wall, there were cobwebs on the walls, the upholstery on the stuffed chair was ripped, and the drapes were such that they blocked the air from the AC.

Outside

The ice machine was located on a very small, unlit room accessible from the parking lot. I was most uncomfortable that the room was so dark, since there had been a couple of unsavory looking people sitting on benches around the parking lot when we checked in while it was still daylight.

In conclusion, we spent a most uncomfortable night at this facility. Based on this experience, we will not stay at another Choice Hotel ever again unless something extraordinary is done to compensate us for this unpleasant experience.

I enclose a copy of our statement. As a minimum, I would expect to receive a full refund of $90.71.

harrassement and bullying at work
I WAS PROMOTED TO A NEW POSITON, THREE WEEKS AGO. THAT WHEN THE HARRASSMENT STARTED EMPLOYEES WERE THROWING TRASH IN MY OFFICE ON THE FLOOR AND THEY WOULD COME IN AND TELL ME TO CLEAN IT UP AND I WAS RETARDED AND IDOT, WHEN I WOULD ORDER FOOD FROM THE RESTUARANT THE EMPLOYEE WOULD MESS WITH MY FOOD.ANOTHER TIME AN EMPLOYEE FROM THE KITCHEN THEARTENED TO BEAT ME UP. I REPORT THIS TO THE SUPERVISOR CHRIS AND HE TOLD ME THAT WASNT HARRASSEMENT.THEN ON FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 19, 2008 THERE WAS A BANQUET FUNERAL HELD AT THE QUALITY INN, AND ROSIE AN EMPLOYEE THERE ALSO STARTED YELLING AT ME AND CALLLING ME STUPID AND CONTINUE TO DEGRADE ME IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS AND CHRIS(THE SUPERVISOR)WAS RIGHT THERE AND DONE NOTHING BUT LET IT HAPPENED. THIS SITUATION HAS MADE ME NOT GO BACK TO MY JOB BECAUSE I FELT NO ONE WOULD DEFEND ME WITH THE EMPLOYEES AND WHAT THE SURROUNDING. I FEAR FOR MYSELF THAT I WAS GOING TO GET BEAT UP WHEN I LEFT WORK. BUT CHRIS THE SUPERVISOR WOULD NOT PUT AN END TO IT. CHRIS WAS LETTING THIS HAPPEN AND IT WAS UNFAIR. IM A SINGLE MOTHER WITH ONE CHILD THAT IS 7 MONTHS OLD. I ENJOY THIS JOB VERY MUCH AND I WENT TO WORK EVEN ON MY DAYS OFF WHEN ASKED. I HOPE THAT I DO HEAR FROM YOU AND SOMETHING IS DONE WITH SITUATION. Rude Employee
I called to place a delivery and she has the worst attitude ever. Did not feel like working at all. She said that she didnt have a driver to deliver my pizza, was laughing in the backgrouns. I am very disappointed.

her name was Kelly and she said she is the asst manager, which that was a bad hired candidate.
