June 18 placed an online order with Quality health, before I knew it becaue I was tired; realized I hadn't read the t&C. Attempted to cancel, called three times because it said one had to call first to cancel. No one had record of order, my name, email address, or anything; yet my cc was charged. Not only was I charged for s/h of 5.95 for a trial, but right away for a one month supply of the product. CC company called next morning due to unusual activity on acct. I wrote to Chicago, IL BBB to complain. It seemed they took charge off acct. Today I called CC co. and found out that Tipper health had charged my acct. on 7/4 for 79.95 and Clarify Healthy 99..90 on 7/19 all unauthorized. The original order was cancelled by long distance calls, (3) The numbers and names of companies it seems have changed, but none of these have been authorized. Today a little envelope came from China that was $18 worth. the postman said do you want me to refuse it, I said yes, but that's not the way you have to do it. One has to return it and do it by the tracking # on the pkg. I did not know this. The visa co. said that it was delivered, refusing it doesn't do anything.
I'm dealing with MS and all I wanted to do was to help myself I did not, just caused myself stress; and am on a limited income of SSI
Does anyone know if it is possible to remedy this situation in the consumer's favor?
