This you would probably know right off as a scam but it is tempting at first. You get a letter in the mail with a check supposedly. It states that you have been chosen to be a Secret Shopper. The check has all required for authentic proof when you hold it to the light for finger print markings, borders, back signature lines, everything. The only thing is, its fake regardless. It can be $2, 000 or higher, mine was $1, 998. The letter stated to verify whether they would consider me as a secret shopper i would have to call the name of the person on the letter to activate and then deposit it in my bank. The guy who is suppose to be Frank Armstrong sounds like he is African or another international accent. Next I would have to with draw $1, 500 +$150-for fee to send by Western Union only to the name indicated in the letter. After that I would spend $100 at one of the stores indicated in the letter. The other amount would be my salary, I believe $350.00 or so of it. Anyway, too good to be true? Because it is, the telephone numbers I checked first with the Better Business Bureau after trying to google this company. There are similar companies but they are not the same one. Anyway BBC checked the numbers and New York address but it did not take them long to let me know this was a BIG SCAM. The telephone number is from out of Canada also. The fake check would had gotten me into Big Trouble as well if I did this. Because I am unemployed and in need of money like alot of people and first I thought God answered my prayers, a job of $350 a week as a secret shopper, PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR IT, BIG UGLY SECRET SHOPPERS SCAM. But the BBC is aware of the company now, not unless they have changed name.
