The hotel looked pleasent from web and actually there, from the outdoors. Entering the building, the staff checked me and my family in and sent us off to find our room. I walked the corridors, sticking to the carpets and stair rails until my room came in to view, seeing a large dint in the door, resembling a punch. The smoke lingered in the corridor and I quickly entered our room to find onle 1 double bed. Where would my little girl be sleeping? I ran down to the ground floor to be told "oh, my computer did not say that", and that was all she could manage to speak in english.
We was re-sent to another floor and again, the ciggarette smoke filled the air. As we entered our room, it has the right amount of beds, clean linen, and bathroom, but...what lurked beneath the bed-sheets? Stains, mess and general dirt. We managed to keep away from the room till sleeptime, but even then it was un-copable; the single-paned windows were not sufficiently filled and the wind and traffic blew in all night. The reservation also told of a room with a hairdryer which I never found.
Breakfast consisted of toast, jam, cereal and drinks...continental????????????????????is what we paid for. I asked for directional help to the attractions...nah I was ushered out and tutted at. The next moring's breakfast was more interesting, not the food, but the allowance of smoking...right next to the food room on the balcony through the fire exit doors...which was left open. The staff stood near them and clearly was not concerned...
