A client emailed an 'accountant's copy transfer file' to me and when I tried to open it, I received a message that the file had been encrypted when it went to the intuit server. We did not send the file to the intuit server. The client saved the file on her system and subsequently emailed it to me. I cannot open the file without a password and intuit would not assist to resolve this issue without a paid support plan.
Essentially, the software created the problem and will not assist in resolution without additional payment for support. They should pay me for the time I've lost in dealing with this issue!
