Our company used Qwest for many years and had the business package of phone & internet services. According to our agreement, our HSI speeds were supposed to be 1.5M/896K. We have never received those speeds--this year a real problem because we found we could not upload large files. (Job plans & Specs.) Qwest had been contacted in the past about this. Twice more this year only to be told we were "at the end of the line". We had two independent companies verify our speeds were 1/3 of what we were paying for. So we switched. Qwest hit us with a $300 early termination fee. They refuse to acknowledge we had problems. They are setting rules such as they do not accept third party verification. They maintain we somehow did not go through proper channels to get to Tech Support. They will not speak to the Qwest Business rep with whom we were dealing on the matter even though we have provided that gentleman's contact information. (Phone number & extension, plus e-mail address.) They don't care that THEY did not uphold their end of the contract, only that we canceled "early." Funny, I have a bill from 2008 that says our contract ended in June 2009. Then we dropped a line and the bill said the the contract ended in March 2011. Corporate Calvin Ball.
