As a member of this nation and of Country. I want answers!
I feel this will be another case to 'just sweep under the carpet'
22 year Soldier formerly of Canberra ACT 2612. Assigned to serve in Afghanistan with special ops unit January 2010. Accidently shot twice by his Supervisor in charge having half his lung blown out and missing ribs, out field whilst clearing out a cache. The soldier is not the same mentally and physically and so very lucky to be alive today (name withheld for security purposes)
The supervisor whom done this is still out serving possibly putting other young soldiers lives at risk...why...and how is this possible? what happens to a civilian if he accidently shoots another person? does he walk free without answering to his actions, like nothing happened?
Not able to retrieve feedback from the Army or the commonwealth ombudsman for any information on this matter Hoping with your expertise you are able to find real news and update on those who serve our country who luckily survive to tell their story. Thank You
