train delayed
Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to inform you that the train no 0704 which was schedule to depart at 1.20 PM on November 15, 2010 was delayed for 8 hours and nothing was updated on your irctc website. please do the needful to update the train timings for every 30 minutes atleast which will help the general public to catch the train on correct timings.

CHEATING IN CURRENT RESERVATION
I Sgt Rohtash Yadav serving in Indian Air Force and deployed to Air Force Sringar reseved a berth in current counter form New Delhi to Chennai on 13 Aug 10.I was in service uniform tagged national flag on pocket. I have to get reservation on any train available. So approched to the current counter.Intially I was told that there was not even a single birth available. Then I requested to check the possibility, then the dealing person told that there is a berth available in 2nd AC. I agreed to travel in 2nd AC. He has charged 2260 instead of 1960[as in the ticket]. I do no where that Rs 300 gone. I may please be refunded the excess money charged by the dealing person and disciplinery action is to be taken agaist the concern individual. I know the name of the individual because there was name tab available on the counter. At present am not disclosing the individual identity. I think that railway can find out the man by its own way.

TICKET BOOKING
Dear Sir,

Railway site (www.irctc.co.in) very very-very poor service and its only for cheat to local public & that is ATM machine for travel agents...!

12/06/2010 aaj subah 7.55 am to 9.05 am tak https://www.irctc.co.in/ login ki but login hi nhi hoti, SERVICE UNAVAILABLE show kadeta he oor fir wahi railways ki dusri site www.erail.in open ho jati he or 8.03 am pre tatkal me more than 60 wait list tickets show ho jati NDLS to CPR ki sari train me. mujhe ye samjh nhi aata he jha ek site start hi nhi hue or dusri site W/L show kardeta he who bhi bina login bina ye toh jarur koi magic hi ho sakta he bina magic ke toh possible nhi he...agar kisi ko samjh me aar jaye toh please hme hme bhi samjha dena bhai...


Yha toh railway walo ko samajh nhi ata he ki general public kaise paisa earn karti he. General public ko pareshan or travel agents ka income ka sadhan he jisase ki corruption hi badega kam toh nhi hoga.


Kindly do the needful for local public…….because we are very-very tired in that case always we are suffering form these types of problems?

Hi,
I was amazed when I sit in a coach with my wife TC has come and pay fine Rs.500/ for sitting in First Class Coach in a Local Train which we are not aware of .As u all aware that it stops for couple of minutes and in a heavy rush. How do a new comer knows that u are not suppose to sit those kind of coaches..As evryone is hurry to catch the train without missing..So, Friends ..be aware of things..

Delay in getting tickets.
Southern Railways stopped advance issue of short distance tkts since last two months stating some fraud as reason for the same.This has resulted in hardship for passengers to wait for long duration waiting at ticket counters especially at majors stations.This will force people to travel without tkts when they cannot get tickets.No extra counters have been opened nor extra facilities provided to purchase tickets.For fraud committed by some fraudsters why should railways penalise the innocent majority travelling public.It is almost like the malayalam proverb "to burn a house to catch a mouse".Railway is hence requested to restore the advance ticket issue upto 200kms early.

NON REFUND OF DIFFERENCE FARE
DEAR SIR,
I BOOKED MY RAILWAY TICKET FOR MY MOTHER AS SR. CITIZEN FROM LTT TO SALEM JN. VIDE PNR NO. 850-9312771 UNDER TRAIN NO. 1013 FOR DATE OF JOURNEY ON 15.4.2008. I BOOKED WELL IN ADVANCE ON 4.3.2008 I.E. AFTER ANNOUNCE MENT OF RAILWAY BUDGET THEREBY MY MOTHER WAS ENTITLED FOR 50% REBATE INSTEAD OF
30 % REBATE. HOWEVER I APPORACHED THE CONCERNED AUTHORITY AFTER 1.4.2008 BUT BEFORE MY JOURNEY I WAS GIVEN A CLUMSY REPLY THAT I AM NOT ENTITLED FOR THE REFUND SINCE I HAVE BOOKED TICKET BEFORE 1.4.2008 . THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CONCESSION IS ONLY FOR THOSE BOOKED AFTER 1.4.2008 . I WOULD LIKE TO LODGE A COMPLIANT AND GET THE REFUND OF EXCESS FARE PAID TO RAILWAYS .

Dear Sir, 4.30 am, 2/12/07,reservation.

Your reservation counters have a separate enquiry counter which usually has heavy rush...I sugest you to have multiple computers at the reservation counter which can give all the necessary information on only the indian railway reservations.
Also all the reservation counters staff should have the obligation of giving any information desired by the customer quickly so it is recomended to rename all the counters as reservation/enquiry counters.
As such at the present since there are separate enquiry counters,the reservation counter staff have no obligation for giving any information but for asking the customer to go to the enquiry counter.
I strongly believe that for reservation counters at the senior citizen/women/Handicap counters should be renamed as reservation/enquiry counters immediatly.
