We purchased a bicycle on a Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. We placed the pre-assembled cycle in a truck bed and transported it to our home. We took the bike out of the truck and my son got on it and put his foot on the pedal and the chain jammed. This was a floor model. The very next morning I took the bike back to the store only to find out that I could not return it, it required to be fixed. I was not happy with this but agree to have it fixed. The manager advised it would take 1-2 days. At the end of the 2nd day I called the store for a status. They advised that no one had come in to look at it yet but they would have it looked at the next day. On Wed afternoon we received a call advising us that a part was broken and needed to be order. The new expected date of repair is now over another week. We asked to get a bike in stock and assemble it ourselved but they said it was against policy. This does not seem right. We bought a bike so our family could ride together, we have not even had it on the road yet and it is now having to be repaired and may be up to two weeks before we even get it back. Can soneone work with us so we can get another bike of the same type, I will put it togther myself, I am not asking for a refund I just would like my son to have a bike to ride with his family and friends.
