So I hired Mr. Walker in May of 2003. It has been 6 years since I have hired him to help me with a Child Support Case. Over these 6 years, I have been treated poorly, have had poor representation at best, and still the issues are not resolved. I have spent countless hours on the phone and emails and faxes only to be told my appointment with my attorney had been bumped. I have traveled numerous times over 6 hours away pulling kids out of school, only to be told once I arrived, that my court date had been moved, or postponed. The communication from Terry-his assistant-is terrible at best. You would think that after 6 years of me bugging them, they would want to be done with me. Multiple phone calls to their office are ignored, or brushed under the rug as non-important. Because of the actions of the Assistant (Terry), whom I hold Mr. Walker responsible for-they have cost me hundreds if not thousands of dollars in lost child support for failure to word a court order just right. I chose Mr. Walker based on his biography that he worked for the Attorney General's office for so many years-at a minimum I figured he would know what he was doing, and how the system would react to my scenario!!! Boy was I way wrong. While Mr. Walker has always been nice over the phone and in person, his non-chalant attitude toward resolving my case and dragging it out for 6 years is ridiculous. In fact, I think it is borderline misconduct on his part. I would like to file a grievance with the Texas State Bar.
