I advertised in the neighborhood with house signs. Sales Representative Chris Craft of Randolph Maya provided a quote in Feb. 2006. My husband & I validated the customer references, & state licensing. He also had a website. We signed a work-agreement on Feb. 26, 2006 for $23, 200 & paid a $1000 deposit check 4596. My husband & I were told we could have our new roof in 6 weeks. We discussed receiving tiles on time so we provided another $5550 check 4637 to Chris on Mar. 13, 2006. I started calling in late Apr.. & spoke with Janessen a clerk because I never heard from the company. Our City of Pembroke Pines permit was approved May 6. On May 17, I spoke to Dave a project mgr. & was told the roof was to be torn down May 17. No one showed - I called everyday in reference to when work would begin. Randolph Maya came the first week in Sept. 2006 for the teardown & tin cap. After completion I paid him another $8500 check 4657. The tin cap was approved Oct. 6 2006. Somewhere in mid Sept. all the employees disappeared. However Randy showed up to do the mop in progress but when finished he never called the City of Pembroke Pines for the inspection. I continued to call the office for information on the status of my roof & no one answered the telephone after Oct. 2006. Jan. 5 2007, I email Randolph Maya reminding him that the City permit was about to expire and asked if he could apply for an extension. He emailed back the same day that he would. My permit expired Feb. 6 with the City of Pembroke Pines. We want our $15, 550 returned.
