My elderly mother, 88 was debited twice for subscription for her weekly newspaper. We have been trying to resolve this since November 2010. No joy! She is a pensioner and every cent is important. They promised to pay it back into her account. Needless to say it did not happen. She is hard of hearing and every time I phone they say it has been noted on her account, waitng for accounts department. There are now 7 notes on her subscription no. You do not get through to any person with authority and can only speak to client services. This is totally unacceptable to exploit elderly people like this! In the meantime she has moved to Cape Town and to expect them to change the delivery address is even a bigger problem! I notified them on 14/2/2011. She still has not received her newspaper @ the new address, and the contract is running out with no newspapers delivered!
