I have experienced very poor service from RBC who kept on misleading me for more than 2 months to perform simple banking task, which any other bank could have done in less than 30 minutes.
Bank staff at this branch kept on making excuses and various reasons for not performing the work. Every time I visited their branch, I found staff is rather more busy in having personal family discussions at work, while customer is on counter. Few ladies staff were even busy in their cosmetic & beauty affairs.( no exaggeration)
When I sent couple of messages to their customer support center, I got into same trap, where they have sent sugar coated ( pre-formated) replies. Nothing much happened, Finally I was able to speak to Branch manager ( that too after leaving several voice messages), she told me that she was on holidays that is why things did not took place. Wonder if she was on holidays for two months?
But to my astonishment is it my problem if she was on holiday? What if I do same after issuing check and go on holidays. Will my cheque not bounce, or someone will excuse me for this reason?
She failed to take care of her obligation being branch manager, while her staff ( George- ) kept on dragging and killing my business resources. I was not able to perform any of my banking needs just because I was not able to do necessary conversion in my required order.
It is highly unfortunate to see that Banks in Canada, more specifically RBC who is just too careless to fix the issues, their customer service is mere mail forwarding service where they would just drop the ball to same person or same branch ( back to square), where no one is ready to understand and fix the issues.
To best of my knowledge most of staff in this branch or in RBC are computer slaves, they can't use their brain or logic, unless their computer screen comes and tells them what to do. Training and basic knowledge is real reason behind this pathetic outcome. My time, resources and money were just wasted on hopeless service and poorly trained staff. All those work here are mere keyboard slaves, who are either high school drop outs or they just come to take their paychecks. Eventually customer pay for their luxuries with little in return.
Stay away from their services. Look for better banking options. Wonder if Branch Manager is able to do anything in-spite of her positive promises. Till today nothing has changed. Meanwhile my message box has been filled with around dozen call centre girls with pre-formated sugar coated canned emails which makes no sense to me.
CLIENT SUPPORT CENTRE IS IN COMPLETE MESH AND A BIG JOKE. YOU TRUST THEM AND LOOSE YOUR BUSINESS AND TIME.
