iPod touch contest
There apparently is no such website, although Reader's Digest provided the information regarding a contest to win an iPod Touch. They even supplied an Access code.
What gives?

Scam contest
Received a card with my monthly magazine telling me to go online www.rd.ca/ipodtouch and enter Access Code 65979 to win one of five iPod touches 16GB.
I was completely unable to access the website as directed.

Contest
I notice that there are a LOTS of complaints about not being able to register into the Nintendo Wii contest at www.rd.ca/wii. Well, I'm complaining about the same issue. The contest ends August 31st (I assume that is in 2008) so I guess I'm just one of the many who fee they have been scammed!!
Shame on you!!!

Subscription
I subscribed the magazine Reader's Digest through i subscribe on 26 Mar 2008 and till now, not one issue arrived up till 27July 2008! 4 Months of waiting!!! Upon expediting them, they sent all 4 issues for 4 months in a go. Now it is August 26th and the August issue has not arrived (when It was supposed to come last week of July and 1st week August), and today is the 2nd email in a month i am writing to them about getting the August Issue posting out.
This is extremely frustrating and exhausting to have to expedite every time.

Unauthorized billing
This is the 2nd or 3rd contest from Reader's Digest that I have attempted to enter over the Internet. The address provided is not valid and it has not links to try alternate routes. I feel that RD needs to know that their scams are encouraging me not to trust there magazine either! I find this very frustrating!

Failing to honor a "surprise" gift card
I received a bill online for a subscription to reader's digest. I did not order this, but once I received the magazine, I decided to order. With the current rd magazine was a card declaring I had a "surprise" gift waiting for me online. The email address was not valid. After finally reaching the site, there was NO information about a "surprise" anything. Ripped off again.
