On 10/1/10 I agreed to another online service for the cost of $6.95. It was not wholesale magazine club nor did i speak with any one identifying themselves as being from this company. I additionally had no internet interaction with a person or website that identified themselves as being ffrom this company. On 10/7/10 I received written notification that I had placed an order with this company for six magazines and would be billed $50.00 per month beginning on 10/11/10. Needless to say I had not ordered these magazines, had never even heard of them and mainly " I did not authorize the use of my bank card for this!"
Further attempting to contact this company is next to impossible. My first ten attempts resulted in being repeatedly hung up on without ever even reaching a "customer service" agent. The online site provides only two choices none of which are the right to cancellation option. Upon finally getting through to a "customer service" agent by the name of Luwanda this morning at 6:40 a.m., it was continually attempted by this person to avoid cancelling my alledged order. I had to make it abundantly clear repeatedly what my intent was. It took until 6:52 a.m. to do this.
This company is fraudulently hiding behind another service being offered online and using the information you provide that service for their own purpose. I know specifically that this is correct because the particular card they attempted to use is one that I use only on certain occasions and only for small online purchases. By small this would mean under $20.00.
