After having paid for years for magazines I did not want because I was bullied into a contract I did not want to sign, I got a call telling me I still owed over $1000 on my account. They called two weeks before Christmas, on purpose, and the man refused to speak slowly as a requested. I refused to verbally agree to have them bill my account. They calledback the next day while I was at a luncheon.
The next day, I received a NEW contract!! I did not owe them anything!! They lied over the phone.. I will NOT sign the contract and have changed the numbers on both accounts that they have access to.
DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!! They are the most unscrupulous companies I have ever dealt with in my lifetime!!!

they tried to get us for 49.95 had a ton of info they shouldnt of had gave the sme fake phone # utility company .nice enough of them we recieved in the mail a letter today confering our order with a 800 # that accually work to contack them i called it got thier CS dept and reamed them a new one because of them i have had to change my bank acct numbers and all that so for those that have been or think they might have been scammed by these scumbags heres thier address and phone info :

I was receiving a magazine and did not order it. No bill...nothing. wondering why I was getting it and whom would send it to me. I just recently received a phone call from this number 720-263-4510 which when I called it back was receiving as a fax. She identified herself as being from Readers Source, then mentioned that she was not collecting any money today, but wanted to know about the magazine I was getting. I told her yes I was getting it but did not order it and to cancel it right away. She asked if I was getting other magazines and asked her which ones? It was no magazine that I subscribe to. I ask her if they were paid for. She then hung up. I don't know what to think. DOes someone know what is going on?

I have been receiving calls from a company called Readers Source that promised me a 1000.00 shopping spree if I signed up to receive 7 magazines for the price of one for 60 months. The payments were to be made for the first 30 months and then I would continue to receive the magazines for another 30 months. The price quoted on12/26/2008 was 24.78/month but I would pay 49.76/month for 30 months instead of 60 months. I was given a tracking number of 8126828 by a Robert Long who claimed to be 62 years of age. Today (2/4/09) I have received no less than 15 calls back to back telling me that my order was up for termination when it had never started in the first place nor did I receive the 1000.00 shopping spree that was supposed to be mailed to me within 3 days of the call on 12/26/2008. I was to receive the subscriptions starting in 2 to 3 months. I have not received any magazines nor the shopping spree but the calls keep coming. When I asked the name of the company today I was told it was called Readers Source and when I asked for the number to the company I was given this number 610-989-9462 which is a utility company and the supervisor giving me the number stated that she (Michelle) had been working there forever and still didn't know then number by heart. When I tried to ask additional questions she hung up on me as did all the other callers from today. The tracking number that I was given in December was false. Everytime I *69 the call I got a different number ie: 303-975-8858 which just rings. 720-263-4512 which has been disconnected and the number that Michelle the supervisor gave me today 610-989-9462 is a utility company which askes for a 5 digit account number. I am now watching my credit cards for charges that were not approved by me and there is nothing in writing from this company. I asked them to fax me all the information regarding this phone call and I was told that they don't fax out information that it would be sent out in the mail. When I insisted that it be faxed so that I could take a look at it they hung up on me but are continuing to call. My phone has been ringing off the hook all day and I hope that this helps someone else from getting involved with this scam. The first call I received today they stated that they had been receiving fraud/complaint calls all day. Please help me with this as I don't want my credit ruined due to a scam being pulled by multiple people. They have been trying all day to get credit card and banking information out of me all day.
