Scam charges
I ordered RealtyTrac Trial and canceled it within 5 days. RealtyTrac gave my American Express card number to Real Estate Promoter without my authorization.
They posted three charges within ten days: 44.95, 44.95 and 39.95. They told me that American Express made a mistake and should have been charging me for the past three months. That is why I am seeing three charges at once.
They said that they would refund one month and I am responsible for the other two month charges.
From other reports on the internet, they have been telling other consumers the same story. Posting promptly one month charge would cause the consumer to immediately call them and cancel and dispute the fraudulent charges. Instead they wait for three months and post the charges at once blaming it on a credit card company error.
They did this more than once w/ American Express who is researching them for Fraud.
This company should be prosecuted for defrauding consumers and I am willing to participate in Class Action Lawsuit against them
I will be reporting them and RealtyTrac to the Attorney General and I would encourage other victioms to do the same.

Unauthorized charges
From what I have discovered, Real Estate Promoter had an offer linked to RealtorTrac.com. When you sign up for the 'free Trial' at realtortrac.com you may be unwillingly signing up for Real Estate Promoter as well.
I had no idea. The 'illeged' emails from Real Estate Promoter go directly into SPAM so you will never see any of them. You will never know about this until it hits your bank account and then it's TOO LATE.
They WILL NOT SHOW ME PROOF that I signed up for this. They merely send me an offer web page which states a $39.95 monthly charge which still does not explain my $49.95 CHARGE!!! I was told by Alecia that the copy she sent me must be old and she could not get me one that said $49.95 on it!!! REALLY!!!
I was also told that they have fulfilled their obligation by setting up a website for me so they WILL NOT REFUND my $49.95.
The Manager DAVE ROGERS is always in a meeting or unavailable!!! REALLY!!
