There have been two charges to my checking account, both for $69.95. The first one was on 2/7/09, and the second one on 3/9/09. The charges apparently were placed on my checking account when I sent for a sample bottle of ACAI Mix, for which I was charged $4.95 shipping. They explain that the subsequent charges were outlined in the Terms and Conditions that I did not read, and that I was supposed to have called them 14 days later to cancel. Isn't this passive authorization considered a fradulent practice? How can they get away with this?
My name is Joan Hedrick, 891 Brittany Park Blvd., Tarpon Springs, FL 34689.
