On August 17th, 2008 I ordered a product call Hoodiacut for a free 14 day supply if you just pay for the shipping in the amount of $5 or $6 dollars. Last week I received the 14 day supply, however there was no shipping information or any type of paperwork in the product shipment.
Today I checked my account on line and found a charge of $69.95 charged to my account with the description of internet supplement and a partial 800 # on the screen. Yesterday was the day we were waiting out Hurriane Gustov and I knew I had not authorized any charges to my account dated Sept. 1, 2008. I immediately went to my bank to resolve this issue, however the transaction was still pending therefore, I could not dispute the transaction until it was posted.
I called the number I found on the internet and I received a message to call another number without success. After calling 3 different numbers, I finally got in touch with a person. I explained that I had ordered a 14 day sample, however I had not authorized any other shipment, nor had I placed an additional order or authorized a charge to my account. My request for a refund or a credit was refused.
After telling him exactly what I thought of his company taking advantage of innocent consumers, I hung up the phone and called and cancelled my card immediately.
I now know that I have been a victim of a scam and it infuriates me.
