I was offered a 30 trial to Real Superpass with the promise of a 2gb mp3 player on 21 Feb 2010. I received a message from them after signing up that is as follows.

Your order has been received and will be processed in the next 48 hours.
You will receive an email regarding your SuperPass Free Trial shortly.
Your order will be shipped within 3 to 5 business days

I received no email, no order shipment, so I was unable to sign on because I had no ID# or password, and the order number & email address did not work. However, this did not stop them from charging my credit card...Twice for 16.23.

After waiting on the phone for 30 minutes calling Real Networks, I was told that they did not offer 30 trial, but only a 14 day trial and that I did not know what I was talking about. I told them that still have the web page ad and the offer of the mp3 player. They said I should have signed on to get the info I needed, but I told them I was not allowed to sign on without that information, and why did they not live up to their promise of a 30 day trial. They then offered to cancel my account, but days later they are still charging my account... 5 attempted charges and 2 successful charges in 6 days!

These people are crooks and need to be stopped!!! If a regular person had done this, they would have been charged with theft and fraud... but they have been doing this kind of thing for a couple of years without any accountability. WHY IS THIS??????? When calling them again today, they said the reason that I didn't get the email is because I spelled my email address wrong when signing up... TWICE?????? They think people are stupid. And then they use people from overseas (India) to do their customer service, and they want to speak to you like it's YOUR fault.

I am not stupid, but they are dishonest people, this is not just a simple mistake. I have looked at all the complaints of others. If I had known this, I would have never again signed up with them... I was a Rhapsody customer until 4 years ago.
