I was contacted by Pat Bryant Sales Executive of Realty Trade and we had a conversation about renting out my timeshare. She quote me some prices (initial fees) and made it known that if my timeshare was never rented I can get a full refund. Pat said that if my property is rented I will get my fees back through rental profit, its a good deal, no risk. I ask her to give me a couple of days to think about it. She said it will be best if she can start the paperwork soon since they are going to have some big event where they show possible clients some units that are available for rent. Jan 9, 2009 I got an e-mail from Pat Bryant, she gave me the rental fee $595. In her e-mail she said "This fees are fully refundable if you do not receive minimum offers of 2000 (minimum rental guarantee) " Couple of days after that I made my decision to go for it, as I will get my refund anyway if my timeshare is not rented out. 2009 we have a recession and work is slow. January 23, 2009 Sign a contract and pay them via debit/credit card. I have to fax them the sign contract from Seattle. After that, I never heard anything from Pat Bryant. 7 months went by nothing. I e-mail Pat Bryant. ([email protected]) NO RESPONSE. August 19, 2009 I called and ask for Pat Bryant, they said shes not available, I talk to a Asia and let her know my situation, about not getting an offer and what is the deal, how come no one had contacted me yet. Asia said "You did not get a mail offer that we sent you?" I said "What mail offer? I did not get any mail" Asia said "Oh okay, were just going to send out another package for your property so we can get some offers" I called back again Sept 8, 2009 Talk to Lafanja, She said "They sent my package out and waiting for a reply" November 6, 2009 I called again wondering whats going on, the female that I talk to said "We sent you an offer from your e-mail" I said " I did not get any e-mail from Realty Trade. She said " Okay I will resend it again." An offer came from Teresa Crisp [email protected] I accepted the e-mail offer and ask the female from Realty Trade, what is the next step, what do I need to do next, She said "Nothing just wait" I waited and nothing happen, I tried contacting Teresa Crisp, I got a non working e-mail and a wrong phone number. I know I need to be calm about the whole thing but something is not right. January 2010 I called Realty Trade and I was connected to Frank, I ask for Pat Bryant and he said that shes not available at the moment. I ask him what do I need to do to get my refund he said, write a letter to Pat Bryant after my contract is up and thats all I need to do. Called back and ask customer service when will my contract be up. She said Feb 20, 2010 Feb 20, 2010. My contract is up and I did what I was suppose to do, I sent a letter to Pat Bryant. I even e-mailed her regarding the letter. NOTHING HAPPEN I DID NOT HEAR ANYTHING FROM PAT OR REALTY TRADE. March 10, 2010 I called the direct line Pat Bryant gave me. A male answer her phone he said his name is Will. I ask Will where is Pat Bryant, he said "Shes been fired." I ask will about my refund, he connected me to their customer service. I talk to Wendy. I told her about the letter I sent and that I was promise a full refund if my property did not rent. Wendy put me on hold for a while, came back and said I am not eligible for a refund. Then she became rude on the phone saying that why did I not ask for a re-fund six months ago. I felt like shes telling me that Its my fault thats why Im not getting a refund. I ask for the manager she said "shes tied up at the moment that she will have to call me back" The manager never called me back..
