Other companies are making and selling fakes called Ephedra Extract. Those are the inert kind which lack the Ephedrine Alkaloids and are not effective according to scientific studies. Beware of this new scam targeted at new and ex real ephedra users. If you have purchased an ephedra product recently and you did not get it from http://www.thatswholesale.com or http://www.ephedrawholesale.com then do not open the bottle and send it back. Read the ingredients label and you will notice that it will say Ephedra Extract 25mg only. A real ephedra product will have it listed as Ephedra (25mg Ephedrine Alkaloids), Sida Cordifolia (25mg Ephedrine Group Alkaloids), Ma Huang (25mg Ephedrine Alkaloids). The fakes are loaded with caffeine and are basically ephedra free products mislabeled as having Ephedra to mislead. Just as caffeine is the active ingredient in Coffee, Tea, or Cocoa, ephedrine alkaloids is the active ingredient in Ephedra, Ma Huang and Sida Cordifolia. Decaf coffee to coffee is Ephedra Extract to ephedra. Both are inert and lack the active ingredient.
