My wife and I owned a home in Las Vegas, NV. We found ourselves in an upside down mortgage loan and a huge monthly payment. Like so many others we were approached by a man named CLAYTON D. SAMPSON, who sold for the RAINEY LEGAL GROUP and US HOUSING ASSIST. We see now that Clayton was a lying salesman.

Clayton gave us a guarantee of money back, if they couldn't bring our mortgage payment down at least 20%, after his fee of $2575.00. They took the money and ran. US HOUSING ASSIST and RAINEY LEGAL GROUP did exactly what I could have done. They just existed, wouldn't return our phone calls, answer our questions or deal with our bank, which was still calling us daily. Eventually they just disappeared. After call after call, we were told by the secretary that they did all they could, which was around $200.00 a month off of our $3700.00 a month mortgage payment. That $200.00 would be added to the back of the loan. I could have done that with a phone call to my bank. They FAILED!!

Clayton's original story changed, of course. He was paid. US Housing Assist was paid, as well as RAINY LEGAL GROUP...and we were screwed!
We lost our $2575.00 and our home.

A classic predator that the news was trying to warn us about when everyone was trying to refinance their bad loans. We were desperate and hopeful. The perfect victims.
