I had an error message and I searched the internet and the " computer gurus" said RegCur would fix it.
I went to the RegCur site and they scanned but said it would only fix the thousands of errors for $9.95. It said the money could be refunded if it didn't work. I said okay but it was confusing, they said click here for a bonus and I did. The bonus stuff cost $49.90. I must have pushed a button I shouldn't have, but it wasn't clear that I had to pay for the bonus.
The bonus brought up five different software things I didn't need. I struggled to install all of them but my computer is a mess. I lost all my passwords and emails and it didn't even fix the problem. An example, I try to play a video on my playlist and it tells me to put in a CD for photogallery, doesn't even make sense.
The company writing me, lots of emails call themselves Paretologic support. They are writing instructions only a genius could understand.
They are saying only the $9.95 can be refunded the "bonuses" can't be but it's not the money that worries me.
My computer is really messed up.
Be very careful what you are doing if you download this because something is not right. I don't know if it's RegCur or PareToLogic, or if it's even them writing me, but I have a real mess on my hands.
They write me every few hours, the same words and a different person's name at the bottom. I don't know if it is a person or a computer generated mail. It always says the same things.
RegCur might be okay but the PareToLogic support emails are driving me nuts. They are all saying the same thing and don't address my questions. They say I can uninstall the software and do a restore but I don't want to uninstall the software, because that might not recover all the things I've lost. I am having to get a computer person in to sort my mess out. BE CAREFUL what buttons you push. I know I will never order software online again.
