Ripped off
Purchased (1) RegCure (2) Privacy Controls (3) Anti- Spyware. Regcure could not activate it, either Privacy controls or Anti spyware stopped some of my work program's from working. In total I have Paid RegCure $58.95 for some thing I cannot use, I have applied for a refund three times with no joy ( they just blank all my requests ), do you have a Trading Standards office like they have in England to submit my claim or some- thing on the same line

Scam
RegCure is the scam of scams. Unfortunately, it doesn't do much good to find enlightenment AFTER you've purchased a dangerous and fraudulent product. This is what I learned from intensive research. I just hope you will not repeat my mistake.
1. NO registry cleaner is truly effective. Save your money. If you use Windows XP, Norton Utilities WinDoctor can actually fix problems and help your computer run more efficiently. I've used it for years, and this is not a paid endorsement.
2. Out of curiosity, I ran RegCure five times in a row. Each time it found multiple errors that didn't crop up on the first pass. This is the clever way RegCure markets its bogus software. It entices you to try a "free scan" that will always find problems. Naturally, you can't eliminate the problems unless you buy the product.
3. There seems to be no way to get your money back. The company does not reply to e-mails and there's no contact info for cancellation.
4. DO NOT UNINSTALL RegCure. Best thing to do is uncheck all the preference blocks and set the automatic scan to dates in the past. Then just leave it. One automatic scan crashed my computer, destroyed my desktop and left me with different fonts on my display after I ran System Restore. It also impacted my media players and the damage continues. Do not run RegCure Backup either. You'll be playing with fire.
5. It is a smart scam because it victimizes frantic people who have computer problems and aren't sophisticated or brave enough to use Regedit. The marketing is very persuasive with "testimonials" that appear legitimate. That's how they steal your money.
I've learned the parent company has over 100 employees and is located in Canada. It makes you wonder what fraud is next. Maybe a related program like "RegCure Professional." You'll pay $59 for that one, and they'll take $69. Sorry about the lengthy complaint, but it's all factual and these people should be prosecuted.

Disabled computer
Regcure don't have an after sales service like many others I have tried to contact them. Same result. However I read reviews before I purchased the software and in my opinion the fault lies with them that do publish these reviews. It is also obvious to me that it is Geeks that are testing software know all the issues and therefore avoid them but don't pass this knowledge on to the consumers. Sure you get the reviews that have pros and cons but a pro or con to them may be detrimental to consumers because they don't understand them.

regcure
When run, (regcure), I have a program that is no long functional. The program has bible
info in it, and various pieces of liturature. I have to re-install my program all over again,
and since it has so much, (it is 550Meg). that has to be installed again!
I've told regcure about it, but, as usual, they DO NOT answer you back!!!
I''m also tired of so many sites with links to regcure. How can they have so
much coverage, and a program be so bad.

took out my OS and all SDKS
this thing took out my synaptics, part of my operating system...a bunch of my graphic files.
It took out the opposition, and then turned on all the start ups that I had locked down for a reason...;the security systems want to kill eachother if they all run at startup.
Not only that, but when I went and disabled them manually, within 20 minutes it had disregarded my attempts to save my computer. My auto play is haywire, and my synaptics is ruined. It will take me hours to fix the damage this piece of junk did to me. I only bought it about 3 hours ago, and it said it found 270 registry problems, and then when I went to recover them, it said it fixed over 500 errors. What a piece of junk. I bought it because I had a standard windows the last time I had it, but since then I have been using open share and alot of sdks because I bought 74 webpages. Before I downloaded that junk, my speeds were lightening fast, but there were problems beacause I had many files in a roboform, and apparently it doesn't know what that is because it told me I had problems I did not have. and guess what, as soon as I took the program out, my internet is better than ever...Its just that it wore out my synaptics and messed up my autoplay. Oh by the way, It disabled my quicktime 7...now why on earth would it do that do you suppose.
Oh, by the way, it took my printer drive out...just figured that one out.
