WHY DOES A COMPANY CHANGE ITS NAME 4 TIMES IN 1 YEAR AND MOVE ADDRESSES 5 TIMES IN A YEAR? SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.


Mr Sasanow has made threats to many people if material is not removed. The following is a reply to Mr Sasonow:

You were provided with exactly what you asked for in writing, you also claimed to have no resources to investigate claims but now you have a legal department?
The important information is this:
Regent Markets and Angela were 10% each, silent shareholders in Apex. Neither myself of Angela ever worked there or had any say in the business activities, we only invested shortly after it started on request from its owner Luke MacDonald who we knew through a mutual friend.
Neither of us were ever associated with Walker Robinson. We saw posts on your site linking us to them but we didn't care because there was no truth to it and it wasn't hurting my business at the time.
Regent Markets never agreed to take on any clients, debts, obligations of either company. We have no reason or desire to. We have lost contact with Luke MacDonald who has conveniently changed his address and both mobile phone numbers recently. We have heard that someone has sent an anonymous email to all the clients of Apex recently advising them that it was because of myself and Angela that Apex had closed its doors. This is very strange as Angela and I only discovered recently that Apex was going into liquidation from its clients after they received an email about it and began posting things about us on your site.
The four years history is the trading history of the head trader we employ. We do not and will not disclose his identity, I'm sure you of all people can appreciate that.
We do not have or need an AFS license for what we do. We bet through organisations like betonmarkets.
Regent Markets is run from my home address and is a matter of ASIC's public record:

We use virtual addresses so as not to be bundled with the "Gold Coast scams" like those mentioned on your site and because it's not a very professional look to have what is obviously a residential unit on your paperwork.
Regent Markets is still a small business at this point, we have very few clients but every single one is happy with the service that we provide and they have reason to be. Please remove the material, it is costing us business and making my newer clients who don't know us well yet very nervous.

Dear Sir,
We are not at all satisfied, on the available evidence, that deletion of material is justified on the following grounds:

1 Your "accountant" has given advice to us that he has acted for Regent Markets for three years. This is not correct, as Regent Markets did not exist three years ago. (recent name change) The letter from your "accountant", if valid, brings your "accountant's" legitimacy into question.

2 Your "Accountant" is curiously also operating (as are you) from a residential address on the Gold Coast.

3 Ozripoff, as you will be aware, deleted material on Apex Investments on the basis we were assured of it legitimacy.
A short time after that, Apex closed its doors leaving angry clients and money allegedly owed.
As a result Ozripoff has been unfairly accused of having been "paid off" by and/or complicity in that business because it appeared to endorse (or protect) the Company by deleting all negative material.

4 Two of the three Directors of this Apex Investments were yourself, Ben Sasonow, and your partner, Angela Barnard. The other was a Mr Luke McDonald.

5 A short time later two new companies appeared on the Gold Coast falsely claiming years of successful trading and claiming to be elsewhere, but actually operating from the Gold Coast.
Regent Markets Pty Ltd, with the same Ben Sasanow and Angela Barnard as Directors, and Ariton Pty Ltd.
Both Companies have a striking resemblance, virtual interstate offices, both having registered for GST recently, both using the same modus operandi and both using betonmarkets.com (not mentioned on website).
Both also have similar websites using false information and false testimonials while disguising the heads or tails basis of gambling on index/market/currency movements. The remainder of your website is extremely misleading.
Taking the margin of the on-line bookmaker, it is not possible to win over a period. Otherwise the bookmaker would not exist.

6 We have reason to believe that neither company has Financial Advisors on staff and simply uses text alerts.

7 Because you are selling a "service", and not a tangible product, any credit card transaction can be reversed.
Banks are apt to (and have, when advised of this) frozen all funds, rendering both you and your clients bereft at any time.

We are faced with demands to remove material daily and are very aware of the nature of Companies like yours and a plethora of others all of whom, for some reason, are based on the Gold Coast in Qld.

We are embarrassed by the Company you were last Directors of and we don't intend to be embarrassed again. Our role is protecting consumer interests, not the interests of companies.


It is our opinion that your website is excessively misleading and outside the bounds of puffery and the TPA Act.


It appears you only give us honest answers when you become aware that we know the truth.


In a very short space of time we have unearthed further material of interest but we will take it no further at this stage.


Suffice it to say it is sufficient to make a decision that we cannot remove the material under the above circumstances.
