I purchased RegTool with Windows Optimizer-3years, for 3 computers. Nice price eh? Well I have had my Computer since 2004, never really had an issue. I am the only user. I had an issue one day about forgetting how to remove the desktop icons on bottom right of my screen. I allowed a Tech to remotely access my computer. What a BIG MISTAKE. We started this process about early evening. He proceeded to run a scan on my system; and my intuition was to ask him why. He said, "Dont worry." When he tried to restart my computer, it would NOT reboot. He kept telling me not to worry. I was already worrying. This turned out to be a royal nightmare. Once he realized he crashed my computer, he said to contact Dell Support, who I no longer had warranty left for my system; but at 3:00am, he asked me if I could come back in 3 hours. Guess he needed lunch. All this communication is now going on between him and I thru my fiances laptop. I had to sign in, and get the Tech back online with me thru the laptop. Long LOng story, it was 6:00am when he decided to ignore my chatting with him. It ended up me calling The Geek Squad the next day, paying them, $297.00, to get my computer back up. ALL Pertinent files, pictures etc. that were on my computer for 5years, GONE! Did he or RegTool respond to this madness? No, they did not. I sent an email, no response. My purchase for this went thru ClickBank. Did they respond? NO! So, to all you folks out there who ever think about using this product, I say, "BEWARE". Ms. Fontaine, Fort Worth, Texas I am appalled.
