My problem is not with the company itself--well, actually yes it is due to the fact that they refuse to accept responsibility for an employee who they say is named "Steve." I feel like sending a person with such obvious emotional instability and psychotic tendencies into people's homes is not only unprofessional, but potentially dangerous to customers. Seriously, I have never even heard of such behavior from someone who is supposed to be trusted to enter people's HOMES and interact with them.
This man was asked to come into our home to repair our refrigerator. The person who happened to be there speaks with an accent, and because of that "Steve" decided he would be incredibly disrespectful to her and act like what she was saying wasn't understandable. Exactly how good does one's language skill have to be to explain that a refrigerator is too cold? He began literally screaming and throwing a tantrum like a child. He was yelling about us having too much food in the refrigerator (note: without explaining any kind of reason why like this company rep did with me later to try to cover for Steve). He was yelling at the person to get out of his way simply for offering to clean up the area more for him, if necessary. Eventually he ran out of the house screaming and slamming the door for our supposed "bad attitude." Are you kidding me? So unprofessional and scary!
I mean, what if we really did actually have a bad attitude? Would he have pulled a knife from our kitchen in some psychotic outburst?! Do you want to take that chance? I would NOT recommend this company unless you do! The fact that when I notified them of this, all they did was make excuses for him and claim that no one has ever had a problem with him (I seriously doubt that), speaks LOADS about the kind of people you will be dealing with. Please, save yourself the trouble that we had to deal with (especially if you speak with any kind of accent and don't want to have your intelligence insulted by some repair guy who didn't take his medication for the day).
