setup box not working
I got problem with setup box and the following is the summary of how Relaince Big TV Customer care troubled me.

1. On June 4th 2011 I gave a complaint about my setup box and Service Request No is 154087891.

2. On June 6th 2011. No one attended to my issue and it was not solved.

3. On June 7th 2011 at 10:00pm i gave complaint about the same.

4. On June 8th 2011, I called customer care and they said it was in process.

5. On June 9th 2011, I called customer care and they said it was in process.

BIG TV customer care gave lot of pressure, tension and charged the amount without providing the service and also deducting my account every day with out watching or using your services or channels.

and Still the problem is not solved and can some one help me out how to address this issue. Can I goto consumer court.

This is the worst company i have ever seen
I would loike to lodge a complaint in the consumer forum, regarding the pathetic service of Reliance BIG TV.
Few of my channels are not working over couple of weeks and i am spending close to 1-2 hrs daily calling to the Customer Care. The problem is not getting rectified. I demand compensation from the company for cheating the piblic and also charging for the service which they are not providing. This is the worst company i have ever seen, i wonder how can they be such a big name in the Industry.

Poor/Pathetic/idiotic are the words i have for now to describe there services.

Same problem is repeating since 15 days
I was purchased Reliance BigTV connection almost 2 months, since around 20 days I am getting message No Signal Found message on the TV Screen & I did all the possible things to make to correct but it didn’t work out so I approached Reliance Big TV customer care on 15 Nov 2008, they taken complaint & they closed the complaint with out attending with in 2 days(As per their policy it should be done with in 48 Hrs).After that I call customer care & I come know about closing of call & they taken one more complaint, but till today they closing the call with out attending the same. Even I try to spoke with Supervisors but the persons who took the call every time they will say person is not in seat, He is meeting or busy same thing happening since 15 days. Once I got chance to spoke with Ashwini (Floor supervisor) she assured that it will be done in 2 days but same problem is repeating since 15 days. I used to spend 1- 3 hours in phone call almost once in 2 days. Even I was written complaint to email ID mentioned in web site but that’s of no use.

Stay away from Reliance BIG TV
My relience Big Tv which is purchased 20 days back got down, we r complaining from last 5 days but no 1 is attending. only saying it be completed. local engineer called after 5 days when asked the reason for delaying he cut down the phone.

your product big tv doesn't has anything it does not have tv channels like
DISCOVERY SCIENCE, DISCOVERY TURBO, ZEE SMILE, CBEEBIES, REAL AND MANY MORE.

False Committments, Cheating and No Response
My Reliance Big TV Smart Card No: 200772503657

I was cheated by the local RELIANCE BIG TV dealer, he promised all the channels i was getting with my previous service provider and more for a price of Rs. 150/- per month.
After having got rid of my previous service provider, RELIANCE BIG TV installed their service and later realised that not even 1/4 of the channels were provided and I was being asked to pay for the rest of the channels.
The dealers Cell no and landline numbers are untraceable.

After having lodged TWO compalints with their sevice center No:18002009001, on 4th of May No: 125726383 i was promised a response in 48 hours, and nothing happened for 7 days.
I again lodged a compalint No: 1262749343 on 10th of May and was promised a response in 48 hours,
Today it is the 19th of May and Reliance is still not responding and after calling today they are refusing to take a 3rd complaint and solve the issue.

RELIANCE refuses to take responsiblity of what os happening and I'm at a loss of Money as well as harrassed.

I have total negative viewsabout their service and responses and discourage anyone for getting a RELIANCE BIG TV connection.

Extremely Irresponsible on their side.

Whenever I start calling to ur toll free no.18002009001, my reliance smart cell no.09861351495 displays 'number not in use'.Fed up with this several days, tried on airtel mobile, I could hear only computerised voice which forwarded to you customer care executive.After some waiting the ring stopped and disconnected.So much so that I could recharge voucher from bsnl mobile of a friend.

My request : Please do something for my mobile no(some months back i was able to contact)that i can contact and recharge easily so that your toll free number would be useful for me.

Payment not reflecting
I would like to state that I had recharged
my Reliance Big TV account through
HDFC Bank credit card on 28th 09 2009 1810 Hrs
for Rs 1328/- (Subscriber ID 200582516585).
But the same has not credited till date.
The Transaction ID is 012815 and already
complained so many times my complaint no. is 110075429.
will you solve the problem or not? and just now i called up
again to reliance bigtv customer care so they people are closed
my case without solve my proble... how can you close the issue without solve? tell me sir/madam what can
i do? did I mistake to choose Bigtv?

Manager taking Bribe/Advantages
Please note that it is heard that Mr. Ashish Kumar of BigTV (Reliance Group, Kolkata) who has been recently transferred to Kolkata is taking bribes from certain vendors and in return giving undue advantages from the Company. Mr. Ashish is constantly taking gifts/advantages/bribes from certain vendors in Sales Promotion Sector and giving them undue advantage at the cost of Big TV. It is also heard that he has reached to agreements with certain vendors for giving him certain percentage of money after the vendor receives his payment. So, BigTV is getting sucked by these types of Managers who are dishonest.

Request you (Big TV) to kindly check all the Quotations & Payments passed by Mr. Ashish Kumar, Big TV, Kolkata so that the Company is not ruined by such selfish & unloyal Managers.
