The company automatically activates promotional packages onto its customer's mobile and charge them for the packages so activated. The customer never makes an application for activation of such packages but on the will of the technical team of RCL(Reliance Communication Limited), such packs are activated on the customer's phone on his expense.
Such packages include Caller tune services, voice chat service, love alerts, etc.
The customer gets a message from the technical team that a service has been activated and some amount has been charged for activation of the same. Those who read such messages and call back to the customer care executives are replied that it was a technical mistake and the same will not be repeated. And also they say that the amount cannot be refunded back & the customers are given an affirmation that the mistake will not be repeated again.
In such cases, a customer is normally, on an average, duped for about Rs. 30/-
Moreover, such things keep happening frequently and even though you lodge a complain with the customer care executives, the problem doesn't get resolved.
I see this website as a medium to raise my voice against the unethical practice followed by the RCL. I hope to get some support here so that my voice is amplified and happens to strike a chord in the ears of those charged with governance and ethics in Reliance Communication Limited.
