I lost my cell and customer service simply rejected to give detail for the same
I lost my cell(prepaid connection) at about 7 pm on 01/09/2007 then on 02/092007 i called reliance customer service center and i asked for some details that my cell is in use and somebody is using my cell as i found my cell busy so requested the executive to give me number which was dialed from my cell and provide me the details of numbers from which he received call then the person told me that i cant give you details then i told him that i you need some verification that all i can provide you but he totally rejected to give the details if they help me then i can trace that person and i can got my cell back but due to their negative reply i cant get any thing

Refund cheque not yet received, not response from local centre
I durgeshkumar chavan a past customer of reliance communication land line from karad (Maharashtra state) My phone no. is 02164 - 329807. I disconnect above phone on 3rd March 2007 by paying all bills. At that time local company center told me that i will get refund of connection amount 1000.00 within 2 month. Till i not received the amount. Now local company's response is not positive. Also in march i paid additional amount of @ 150.00 as a bill.

Non activation of my old number on new handset
I had a Reliance Handset Cell Phone Nokia 6225 with number 9324654325. Due to water lodging my said hand set got non functional. Being beyond economical repair, I did not get my set repaired and decided a buy a new handset. I procured a new Reliance Classic 702 Hand Set (RSN Number : RLOHSC000562924) from Reliance webworld Gallery, Miraroad(E) on 25 August 2007, Saturday at 2000 hours. At that time, I was assured by the Reliance Communication Staff that you will get your number 9324654325 activated on new handset within two hours.

Till then today is the 6th day, but my number has not so far been activated on my new handset despite my repeated physical visits to Reliance Webworld, Miraroad (E) as well as repeated telephone calls to them. Each time they told me that there is a problem in their network. Due to non activation of my number I am facing a lot of inconveniences.

Disconnect of line!
My self a reliance mobile user. I want to disconnect the line, i mean i want to surrender the line. I had taken the mobile from Kankurgachi Reliance Web World, Kolkata (Westbengal). When i went to the same Webworld on 10.08.2007 the customer care dept. told that you have to move to Ultadanga Reliance to disconnect your line. Then i went to the given Ultadanga Reliance, the customer care told that you have to come on Monday 13.08.2007. My complain is that if i want to disconnect the line on 10.08.2007. Then why the customer care told me that you have to come on 13.08.2007, because 11th is the billing date of Reliance. And I'll be the loser because again the rental of Rs.400/- will be added to my bill. This is not any govt organization, still they are acting like govt. employees. This is a very bad mark to this company and if they will do like that then no one will take such a company's connection where there is no solve out of problem at the particular time.

Company refuses to refund money!
To make a long story short, I had a WLL unit which was duly returned on Oct 31st 2006, and account cancelled, and they indicated the refund will come in 3 months. And I thought it was OK. However 6 months past, and after repeated visits and emails to the consumer dept of reliance, they said a check was issued and that was that. So i asked show me proof of delivery, and my signature, and the fact the check was encashed. They said it will take a month so i have to wait.

Now 2 weeks they billed me again thru ECS, and charged me again for the same amount. I got furious at the Reliance Hello world, (had a nice cold mocha on their tab) and told them they owe me the previous balance plus the new amount they have deducted. So still I don't have a happy ending, they have my money, and still will not entertain in returning the amount (Rs96.00!).

I intend to go to the Java Green, and eat all of that on their tab. What do you say...

Also stay away from Reliance... I am quite happy with airtel!

Calls barred without any reason
I had purchased a new cellphone with a new connection on 7/5/2007. I got connection for the one week that one usually gets on a new connection. After the end of the week the connection had expired so i recharged it with that of a one month validity.

A few days after this my outgoing were barred.on approaching the web world in noida they asked me to fill a new application form as they thought there could be some problem with the form. i filled a new form and submitted it. It took them couple of days but then they were able to resume my connection. This was the second time i had filled up the form.

After 15-20 days my outgoing was again barred. On approaching the web world they told me that there was problem in the verification as no such person with this name stayed in the given address (whereas i very well do stay there since last so man.y years). I showed them the address proof. But they would not listen to me and asked me to fill the form again (they made me mad) and i did so (third time). They said it will take a week but nothing has yet happened.

I have been running around since the day of purchase of my phone to get my phone working and filled up the application form thrice along with which has caused huge inconvenience to me. They keep passing the buck by asking me to wait and have not yet helped me with a solution. Finally i have given up now. And decided to write it here. As a next step. And also share my experience!!

I can neither receive calls nor make calls. At least I should be able to make calls to *369 to follow up the customer service, but even Customer Service is disabled!

Kindly tell me whether my cell will be activated or not!? Its so difficult for me to be in touch with my family members! What's the use of having a cell when one can neither make nor receive calls!! If not i would like you to refund the money i have spent on this cell(as it is nothing more than a dummy). Moreover there is still balance in the mobile in the India card section. If it can be activated then i would request to restore the connection immediately.

My latest application form number is 6948610740 which has been submitted at the web world in noida sector-18.

Not getting any response from Reliance
I am running an event management company. I am using reliance cel phn from last 2yrs and my no is 9312973232... the services i am getting is really worst. I had transfer my cell no to another phn. the reliance ppl said that ur no will activated within 24hrs, but till date it haven't activated and now its near abt 7 days... i gone to reliance web world, Vasant Vihar and the name of the concern person is Mr. Hardeep. I am really fed up from that chap... i don't know what to do as my business is suffering. Now i am planning to go to the police station and launch report against them as they r miss guiding ppl which is using there services.

Disturbing phone calls!
MY mobile no. is 9370562546 & no any bill pandig in fact i pay advance 600/- on dt 24-05-2006 company billing date is 12/06/2006 but from collection center continue call me in a day 6 to 7 calls for paid for bill evan local collection center also call me & i m paid my bill through credit card but company calling continue calling me. I don't know what can it is very panic i am disturb on my job also.
I am system administrator in mumbai education trust in nasik .

Please tell some suggestions!

Stucked in the smart connection!
I am using two smart numbers in shimla one is +9817162384 and +919817162385, i am sorry to say it is the worst, when i saw reliance brand name on smart i thought that it must be providing 3g service or at least edge but forget all these this company does not have their internet site and customer care people are hectic and stupid. They tell u their name wrong ask personal question and please don't be surprised they can shout on you also, signal quality is below poor, balance automatically deducts after 3 hours and no record of it even with customer care. Now you will definitely say that this is not our department but just tell where will a customer like me will go, he has no other option, i am just stucked in this connection called smart. If you people cant handle it then please shut down the company. I hope this e mail of mine will bring some light on smart issue. Please help all reliance smart customers. Save them from this smart!

Cell phone not activated!
My Cell was lost 5 days back when I blocked it at customer care (*333). As advised the day after (9/11/2006) i visited the Web Word at Forum, Bangalore (at 7:50PM). Where i was told that the number cannot be transferred at their outlet and asked me to visit MG Road Web Word. (May be the person in charge wanted to leave early although 8:30 is the closing time!!)

Next morning Friday (10/11/2006) i visited the MG Road Web World. They said that they cannot transfer the number to my old blank handset (this was the extra handset i had) and I will have to buy a virgin handset only then they can do so. (Good phone selling strategy!! But not Fair!!)

I had no option but to buy a new handset. They promised that they have sent the request for activation and the number would be transferred to this new handset with RSN: RJPHSC010109371 within 24 hrs.

It has been more than 2 days now. I have also complained on customer care (*333) with complaint number: 41669879 but all in vein. I have called up customer care 2 times after registering the complaint but they are not able to help at all. The Web world is not able to help too.

I have been running around for last 4 days to get my phone working between your Call center and Web World which are not in sink with the information. Causing huge inconvenience to me. They have been passing the buck to each other. Without helping me with a solution. Finally i have given up now. And decided you write it here. As a next step. And also share my experience!!
