Delay in reactivation even after submission of credentials
To: Customer care Reliance communications

My wife Dr Mrs. Chitra Rao - subscriber to the Reliance Pre Paid connection No. 9346282551. On 8 th May she had submitted her credentials at reliance Web world franchise located at Vanasthalipuram - Hyderabad on demand from Reliance communications when she had gone to recharge her phone.

Since last three days her outgoing calls have been disconnected and since 17th May even her incoming calls are not being routed through.

Her Application No. 70394337401 submitted at VSPM Office.

Her Complaint No. 49646330.

Reliance Webworld No. 32989993
Mr Mahender Reddy.

Would request to restore the connection immediately as the staff at the above office say that they have done their part and they can't do anything more advised to contact your main Webworld center at Hyderabad.

Non-recharging of prepaid account
Today on 14-05-2007 I've recharged my prepaid account with balance of rs.15 for out-going purpose between 2:15 pm to 2:30 pm. 15 mins. After recharging i again visited the place where i recharged it but sales person told me it will be recharged but its 4:24 pm now and i didn't get any message from company and my account is not recharged yet. This is quite disgusting and shameful for such a giant company. What should i do? Can anyone suggest me?

Worst service provided!
I have been using reliance post paid connection for the last 2 years and within this period encountered requirement of number change to a different state once. But once logging the request the work could not be accomplished in 4-5 days and still don't know how many more days to wait. I think reliance has the worst policies.

The more frustrating is that the customer care has immense potential to provide non-existing rules and also to increase the time line whenever user asks why it has not been done. There is nothing user can do and can go to.

There is no certainty in what customer care speaks about reliance policies and what the Reliance Web World (which is the gateway to interact with users) says.

I think that reliance management is never concerned about the services provided and i should say that TRAI should exercise sudden audits to check out the quality of services provided.

Mobile phone exchange policy is a scam!
I bought the LG 7230 CDMA handset in June 2004 for ~Rs. 16,000 and when I approached the Reliance Communications office for upgrading to latest handset, I was surprised to find that I will be waived only Rs. 2000 for my old handset. The exchange policy must be based on the current market cost of the mobile and age of the mobile handset. This is clear case of freezing the customers in Reliance Communication as the service could not changed with CDMA phone.

Cell barred for no reasons
I will just copy- paste the mail I sent to Reliance Customer Care regarding the deactivation of my cell.

Till to this day my cell has not been activated!

You are asking me to be patient!! Are you people even aware, when my cell was disconnected!! It was the 15th of Nov 2006! Its been more than a month now.

Kindly tell me whether my cell will be activated this year or not!? Its so difficult for me to be in touch with my family members! What's the use of having a cell when one can neither make nor receive calls!!

So please make an effort and atleast tell me whether my cell will be activated or not, so that I can go for some other connection atleast.

I am really very sad with the type of service Reliance provides.
I am a customer of reliance since more than a year. I have taken a prepaid connection.

About 4 weeks back i got an SMS saying "Please submit the address proof documents, or else the service will be terminated." The next day itself I went to Reliance Web World in Forum, Koramangla and submitted all the necessary documents, since from there only i had taken the connection.

And now its been 3 weeks and my cell has been barred! I can neither receive calls nor make calls. At least I should be able to make calls to *333 to follow up on my status, but even Customer Service is disabled!
I hope you can understand how disquieting it is to be without a cell for more than 3 weeks! I again went to Reliance Web World in Forum, Koramangla from where they called up Cust Service, the Cust Service person took my details and told me that my cell will be activated within 24 hrs and gave me a Request Number too. Now its more than 6 days and still its the same!

Yesterday when i went to Reliance Web World in Forum, Koramangla to inquire what had happened, I must say the man behind the counter was in no way useful and in a way was very rude to me when i inquired about my status!

You people advertise that you value your customers, if yes then please show me how!

No refund of deposit!
When I bought the RIM with DAP offer (Dhirubhai Ambani Pioneer Offer) i.e. a 1st post-paid plan from RIM, I had paid deposit of Rs. 2000 for R World membership charges. Now when I switched over to RIM Prepaid plan for the same Mobile no., the very good-minded Executive Reliance Communications said that you will not be refunded the deposit but the existing post-paid pending bill payment or unbilled amount will be adjusted,. It is surprising and vague, as you have to make the calls for Rs. 2000 before submitting the request for switching over from Postpaid to Prepaid plan. At least, Reliance Communications must have courtesy to refund the deposit in form of Prepaid talk time since switching over from Postpaid to Prepaid.

Cheating by Reliance!
We purchased data card 09312104250 to be used for laptop for usage of internet from Reliance Communication. We subscribed the data card under Zero Rental plan for data card usage and voice calls rental Rs 149. But when we got the bill we find they charged rental about Rs 650. When we asked them about mistake with customer care who advised us to pay and from next month they will send correct bill because they entered wrong information in system. We paid the bill in good faith.

Then again next bill come with same charges. Nobody is ready to listen. Even we have to wait longer time to register our complaint When they listen all things, they say system is hanged or updated so call one or two hours later. We called so many times, but no use. They do not want to correct bill and now disconnected our card which is of no use.

We have written so many emails. They give me one fax no which never worked and I tried to send fax so many times to them.

Disconnection problems
I am the dealer with reliance communications, i have purchased approximately 500 handsets of the same in the month of may, i have provided all the documents necessary under trai's guidelines to the same, then also all handsets got disconnected, once again they told me to produce the documents, i have submitted all the documents , then also the scenario is same... now the concerned person is avoiding my calls and same is the case with reliance area manager and cluster head...

i have purchased it from kolhapur m/s sonal communication--- chetan bhai....
and contacted with mr-paramjeet and mr apoorval, ----area persons over there...
i have also given them the bills of handsets which i have purchased via fax..... now they are making silly excuses...

i have purchased from kolhapur although it was not in my area, as i was facing many of the problems from local distributor...

Connection problems
My Reliance no. is been disconnected since last 1 week without any notice, even though all the papers were submitted. And when we go to Reliance webworld, there's a common answer from the person that is SERVER IS DOWN.

Even after submitting paper for second time at Reliance webworld, the connection is still not restored.
