Airtel "Internet On" is service not working!
This is a complaint about a Reliance marketing executive, team leader and their behavior. On 18-8-7 Saturday I have called Reliance marketing executive Mr. Prashanth to purchase data card. I asked him on phone that how much time it will take to deliver a data card to me? He answered that, within one hour he will give the data card and active my connection and he also said that with in one hour you whole process will be completed and you can browse the internet. That time I was in very usage of internet. I have urgent mails to send to my company. After hearing this I have called him to my home.
At my home I asked him about the plans and terms. He was un-successful in explaining the plans and terms. He doesn’t have enough knowledge about the product. He had taken Rs. 500/- as advance along with my Photostat documents. After that till today he is not getting in touch with me. Many times I have called him on his mobile, but he is rejecting or not lifting calls from my mobile. Some times he wontedly answered my calls by other persons by saying he forgotten his mobile at home. Some times Mr. Prashanth lifted my calls and said that, “No stock is here in entire Warangal. I am trying to get a data card especially for you from Hyderabad. The company is not providing sufficient data cards to us, many customers are in waiting list.”
After six days losing my work with Internet, I gone to his office, he is not their, so I have taken the team leader Mr. Ravi's mobile number 9399957100 and I have called him. I asked him that, “you people were failed to give data card in time. So return my money along with the documents which Mr. Prashanth has taken from me.” I thought that, by hearing like this they will give the data card immediately. But Mr. Ravi answered that, in the evening you will get the money and documents.” Now its 12.30PM till the team leader Mr. Ravi had also failed on his promise.
In the evening I have purchased a data card from another reliance web world, by using the data card I am mailing you. I contact the Reliance web world about this issue, they told me to complaint to Reliance call center. I tried to complaint on this issue to call center executive. he refused to take, this type of complaints and advised me to collect your money, documents in a good manner.
This is the example of how companies are cheating consumers bad gaining profits. They are appointing irrespective, irresponsible employees. The companies also like these irrespective, irresponsible employees.

Diminishing Pre-paid balance and overcharged post paid bill!
Last month I had recharged my account with Rs 777 E-recharge which gave Rs 692 talk time and 1 year validity, but only Rs 99 were credited to my account instead of Rs 692. Than I recharged my account with Rs 100 and my balance was Rs100.30 paise, now it's just 30paise within 3 days though I have not made a single call or send any message.
Still my balance of Rs592+Rs100 is yet to be credited. Even in free sms scheme amount of my main balance gets deducted for sms send and when we complaint they tell deducted amount will will be credited back soon.They also send an sms stating that amt has been credited, but actually amt is not credited back at all.
Moreover my RIL post paid bill is overcharged every month by Rs 10.And when we complaint we get just 1 word "sorry". There may be many who are paying their overcharged bill without any complaint. And RIL is making big bucks out of it.
Every month i have to face this similar problem. I am not sitting idle at home and waste my time, money and efforts. Every month after recharge i have to visit web world atleast 5-6 times because of balance problem. And even for a small recharge they take about 30 minutes.Customers are just kept waiting.
I have also found few more customers who are also facing similar problem of balance being deducted without being used and there may be many more who are facing this problem.
Its management is worse than the government organization. Web world services are third grade and salesmen are rude and have no product knowledge. If we complaint, salesmen tell it's not their problem that amount got deducted. Than who the hell is responsible??? It's their duty to note down our complaint and solve it. Injustice is being done to consumers and now it's really high time that we raise our voices against the injustice being done.
Customers are not slave of reliance. Today reliance is there because customers are there. And it won't take time for customers to change to other service providers.

Negligence and fraud by RCL
I had a post paid Reliance Communications' (RCL) connection. One fine day my connection was changed to prepaid, without even informing me (although I had paid all the bills on or before time). On inquiry I came to know that a formal requisition has been sent for the same but I didn't forward any such request. Now, this post paid to prepaid process is an irreversible one i.e I cannot switch back to post paid on the same number. I feel that this is a pure negligence or a case of fraud by RCL.

No refund of security deposit
I was a Reliance Infocomm customer having Fixed Wireless Phone (FWP) from 13/03.2005 to 09/01/2006. I got the FWP connection under Plan FW700 in March 2005 with handset code No. LP340E. The phone number allotted to was 0522-3959005. I paid all the bills regularly at stipulated dates. Due to some personal reasons, I offered to surrender the connection as well as handset/accessories on 09/01/2006 at at Reliance WebWorld situated at Kapoorthala crossing (near Sahara India Bhawan), Mahanagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (copy of receipt of Service Termination Request enclosed). I was assured by the concerned person that the security deposit (Rs. 2000/- only) of your FWP connection will be sent to you within 3 months of date of surrender.
Upon not receiving the security refund within the above said period, I inquired in the Reliance WebWorld as well as at Reliance Main Office at BTC house, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow (UP) in this regard. Inspite of repeated assurance from concerned officers, I am yet to receive the security refund of FWP connection 0522-3959005.
I had communications with Reliance customer care at several time point but I am sorry to say that no conclusive explanation was received from that end.

Very poor service!
The I have reliance netconect and it's not working for the past three days. The customer care says the this problem is there for all the customers through out INDIA and their technical team is working on it (not sure how many days they will work). My sincere suggestion is don't go for the reliance services any more.

No proper guidance at webworlds and always server down
I visited many times reliance webworlds and webworlds expresses at jagatpuri in east delhi and pitampura/laxmi nagar/kashmere gate/ respectively, sometimes it may happen. Server is on otherwise always server down/computers not working / air conditioners in such summers not working in daryaganj where public is standing - it seems like a fish market. Juniors at the counter say printer out of order no duplicate bills can be issued seniors sitting in other room with a tag " No Entry" outside but inside sitting in ac and chatting no matter how much public is getting trouble,this leads to all chaos and i have to return blank and not able to deposit bills in time then i have been levied late payment charges in subsequent bills.

Delay in activation of STD service even after submission of credentials
I bought a new reliance post paid connection on 16th may 2007 from reliance Web world franchise located at Mayfair office - Hyderabad. My number got activated on 20th may after much delays and request but i didn't get the STD activation from my phone even on 25th may 2007.
I tried to call every concerned person for the getting my STD activated but i came to know that i got a old number which was deactivated 2 years back and now its coming back into the circle as per companies policy. All this was not told to me before i got the connection. It has been 10 days since i got my phone nothing has happened.
Customer beware!!!

Not giving the deposit money back
When I was in mumbai, I had taken reliance fixed phone connection and paid 3,500/= as the security deposit. My telephone number was 022-32522178. I used the phone for 2 years. I surrendered the phone 3 months before leaving mumbai (on 26th jan-2007). I was told by the reliance support person then that I would receive my deposit money in 2 months time. I did not receive deposit money as long as I was in mumbai (ie 3 months after surrendering the phone). After I came to bangalore I've written at least 100 mails to reliance customer support team regarding this, (my request id is:51220312) every time they reply back saying that they would respond in 3 working days but the truth is their 3 working days never comes for them and they don't respond at all. I am asking my own money for last 5 months. It is hard earned money. Why reliance communications such a big organization is eating customer's money. I just want to know if any one ever got their deposit money back from reliance communications, if yes, please let me know how much time they have taken to return the deposit money 6 months or 1 year.

Non refund of security deposit for FWP

I had a Reliance Fixed Wireless Phone (FWP) connection (No. 033-30941801) which was installed on February 07, 2004 at my residential address 71 (Old 105 Dakhsin Para Road, Kolkata 700028) and at that time the they took Rs. 1800/- (Rs. 800/- for installation charge and Rs. 1000/- as security deposit). The telephone connection was taken through J.P. Traders, 569 Jessore Road, Kolkata 700074. After about two years I found that the service is not up to the mark and subsequently I surrendered the FWP in Reliance Web World Express, 18 Dum Dum Road, Nager Bazar, Kolkata 700074 on February 25, 2006. During the surrender process I paid Rs. 647/- in cash as due phone bill at pro rata basis up to February 25, 2006 along with handset with all its accessories (original receipt with me) and I was told that an additional Rs. 290/- (rental for following month, March, 2006) would be deducted from the security deposit. In April 05, 2006, some S. Sarkar of the same Web World Express gave me the receipt regarding the ‘submission of FWP in good condition with all its accessories’ (MDN: 32941801; RSN: RLGFW200657082).
Almost 15 months have already passed following the surrender of FWP but unfortunately, the Reliance people have neither contacted me (Resi. Phone No. was provided) nor returned my security deposit. Meanwhile, I have visited twice the same Web World Express but they could not be able to give any positive answer. I have last visited on April 04, 2007 and that time I have found a cheque of Rs. 588.00 in my name dated in August, 2006 is lying with them. They have been trying to deliver the lapsed cheque to me and asked me to revalidate the same from Reliance House, Chowringhee, Kolkata as the delivery man could not find residential address but I have refused to receive it.
I am now surprised that during the time of installation, the same Reliance people verified my residential address and get a paper signed at that time but this time they have failed to localize the same address. I believe that the amount printed in the lapsed cheque should not be Rs. 588.00 as I have surrendered everything in good condition.
The companies like this never bother the interest of customers. Whenever a customer fails to perform his formality, the company people do not forget to take steps in their favor but the reverse is very much not true. In the present case, they do not think of the customer as I am at the receiving end.
During the surrender of instrument I cleared all dues including rental up to April 25, 2006 and I do not understand why they had charged me another Rs. 290.00 as rental for the following month. What is the basis of charging like this? I had no phone connection in March, 2006 but I had to pay the rental for the said month as per their discretion. I claim the full security deposit (Rs. 1000.00) what is lying with them at the very earliest convenience.

Cell phone recharged, no outgoing call
I am suffering from reliance connection. I recharged my cell phone by Rs. 150 and Rs 85 (stv) on 18th may 2007 and rs. 25 on 19th may 2007. After recharge when i called my friend (other company's subscriber) i received a massage that you have no sufficient balance please recharge your prepaid connection. Although i have above 400 rs. balance in my prepaid connection.
