Stay far away from Reliance Infocomm
I have bought a reliance post paid landline on 11-12-2006. Now i am having some problem in my handset for which i had taken to the service centre who refused to service my phone saying the warranty is expired. Though 1 yr is not yet over since I purchased. On further questioning i found that the phone which i bought is a very old phone that the web world has given it me. So, the web world guys have cheated me by giving old phone. Please suggest what can be done.

Line not activated yet

i had made the payment of my bill after due date because i didnt recieve the bill.
the line was disconnected on 22nd january 2010 and is still not activated till date.
i went to the reliance gallery and was of no solution to my problem. please help.

Plan migration not done after much efforts
I was using Reliance Net Connect (No 9312969233) which was a postpaid connection.
I requested for the migration of same to prepaid on 23rd October 2009 through Reliance world at Forum Mall, Hosur Road, Bangalore.
I also made the outstanding and unbilled payment on the same day there.
Request number for the same is SR# 111678606.
After one week, when migration was not done, I inquired about the same from customer care, they put up an excuse saying my alternate number is not reachable which is a stupid excuse because my number is active and I am receiving all the calls.
I went to reliance world at forum mall, Hosur road, bangalore after one week 30th October 2009.
They told me that they would send a mail to head office and call me back about the status.
I even added another alternate number in case it is needed. But since then I have not received any call either from reliance world for status or from customer care for confirmation of migration.
I am still confused about the status of my netconnect card. It is blocked and I am not able to use it. I am not sure if it is still a postpaid connection.
Just want to know if somebody can help in resolving this.

charged for unsubscribed services
Hello I am Reliance GSM prepaid customer. I have not subscribed any caller tune but since they cut my
balance from mobile and given me message that " YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TO THE CRBT SERVICE HAS
RENEWED FOR Rs. 30 " while I have not yet activate or subscribe any of these services. Please do the needful
as early as possible...

Harassment for recovery
I got my land line phone disconnected and the reliance customer care guys came to my residence and collected whatever the due amount was. Then after about 2 months I received a call from someone stating that he is calling from Delhi Police station and that a case has been lodged against me by reliance in Ahmedabad court and an arrest warrant has been issued to produce me at court. On asking for details he started abusing and used foul language. He called me 2 - 3 times and mentally harassed me. I understood that he is no one but a recovery agent. It was a matter or a small amount, about Rs 1000 /-. I have my mother at home and do not want her to undergo any such situation. I went to Reliance web world and payed the amount. I still have about rs 600 - 700due on reliance which is the refundable security money. They have never come back for the same. It is a shameless company treating their 3 - 4 yrs old customers like this. I will never every buy any reliance product in my life and will make sure no one else does...

Scam and cheating!
I surrendered my Reliance wireless handset with all accessories due to poor network and cleared all my bills before submitting them. Even the boy at the counter said you do not have any pending amount. When I asked about Rs 1000 /- refund he said it would take three months to process the refund and I would receive a cheque of Rs 1000/-. After three months I contacted customer service and they said they have processed a refund of approx Rs 180/- and deducted one month rent around Rs 880/-.
Ideally they should have deducted the pro rated amount based of number of days. Neither they have sent the cheque nor they are listening to my complaints. When I ask about the cheque the answer is "We have sent it from our end now contact the courier and track it".
I feel like killing each one of them who are answering such bull shit. Don't they face such situation in their life. I am upset... don know what to do now. It has been 1 year now.

E-Recharge
I am a Reliance Mobile customer. I am a prepaid customer. My problem is that I am unable to do e-recharge, but can do recharge with a paper voucher or card. I have visited the R-World many times, but my problem has not been solved yet. Every time iI go to R-World, the reason for the delay is not told. I even got to know card and paper voucher will be stopped soon and one can recharge only by e-recharge. If this is so, my nymber is just a waste. I want my problem to get solved as soon as possible. Kindly do the needful asap.

Reliance - dangerous policies not customer friendly
Have you ever wondered why a company like Airtel or Hutch or even a Government owned Telecom like BSNL is not cheated. People walk up to pay the last cent that is due to the company. Well you may call it a strong policy from the company, but it is more from a customer friendly attitude towards the people. If you now look into Reliance they have had a well established history of:
1. Sending so called "goondas" to collect dues
2. Having had severe losses in their initial 500 Rupee mobile plan. Now all should start asking the question why? The answer is They dont care for their customers. It looks like the : how the dreams of Gandhiji is continue to remain a dream, Dhirubhai Ambani's dream to have a strong and able country backed by the Reliance companies will either continue to remain a dream, or be washed away by the so called "POLICIES of RELIANCE CORPORATE WORLD".
I called to ask for a rate plan change, and the first action initiated by Reliance was to charge me in advance for the next month rental (an no intimations were given either in word or writing)
If I decided to call them and ask why this was done, well the customer center representative said "COMPANY POLICY"
I however thought I should inform them, that this needs to be rectified but the rep was no way interested to take any action on this front. Hence I decided to call it a day, and ask for termination of services for which I was quickly transferred to a special department.
The executive at the Special Cell did no efforts to rectify this. Also on being notified that this conversation would be shared within the Corporate world, I still checked if he had an email address of the escalations team, which should receive a copy, he promptly replied, "NO WE DONT NEED IT. OUR EMPLOYEES ALREADY KNOW THE POLICIES". Gee what an answer. And to call it the special team. I felt it was futile to speak further to this GENTLEMAN, hence I took the cancellation request number and closed the call.
The Question now is:
Would any one of you want to have your relationship with such a company. While this email will circulate, I thought it is better to also post it here for the advantage of Reliance customers who may want to be careful. It should also serve as a warning for people who wish to buy Reliance products.

Pathetic and worst service provider!
I am a postpaid subscriber of Reliance and I opted for Reliance Network just a month ago. Their services are pathetic and they have the most unprofessional customer service representatives who do not know even how to find a solution to service related issues. Despite of paying the full bill amount my services are barred. Made several requests but all efforts were useless. I must say that this company is providing worst services and must advise other mobile users not to go for Reliance postpaid connection. This is just a horrible experience!!!

Phone disconnected for over 15 day
I'm unfortunate user of reliance mobile no 9316507100 which is temporarily disconnected because of no fault of mine. I have already Submitted my id proof, residence proof to the company which they have acknowledged wide a receipt. No one able to tell why my phone has been disconnected I have visited reliance Web word 4 times and have made numerous call customer care But no one is able to tell the reason of disconnection.
Complain pertain to Panchkula Haryana. Its a life time connection how come even the incoming call are disconnected.
