Parents (Think Twice):
Classrooms are over crowded, there has been allot of THEFT in the time our daughter has been there, which is almost one year now! The campus has made no attempt to put a stop to the stealing and there are no lockers to lock up equipment. Apparently when students leave for lunch and lectures anyone can walk in and steal the students equipment... and the STUDENTS are expected to replace what's taken!
The holidays are not really holidays and the students and staff are expected to come in on weekends in order to MAKE UP CREDITS. My wife and I are really disappointed and hope things change but so far they aren't off to a very good start! (Higher Education? Please!)

Remington College Houston- West campus is the worst place to work for. I would never recommend anyone to this College. Its a shame the campus is beautiful but the Campus President is a B*TCH (Lashundia Brooks). She does not know how to treat and appreciate the employees. She is a very unprofessional and have no compassion for employees. Where do I begin to tell you, she fires all the race and replace them with African American employees. She does not give anyone a second chance except her own people/relative. No one is allow to make mistake, it does not matter if it is minor or major. She disriminate all races but African American. She is a liar. She likes to twisted everything to keep herself safe. She fires everyone left to right, There is no movation left for employees. Nothing is good enough for her. She likes to intimidate employees. If you are not African American, you will not last long. African Americian employees makes mistakes, she let it slide by. But if its someone other race then it done "YOU Are FIRED" . Its embarrassing when students are saying this is a GHETTO school, looking at most of the manager/employess are African American. I do not know what the company see in Brooks to allow her to run the college. She is not qualfied to be the Campus President. She not only mean and rude to employees, she is like that to students. And students are suppose to come first. I do not know why corporate office os so scare of her. She will ruin this company pretty soon... Best of luck to some of the good employees left... not many left...soon will be done

first of all let me say that the advisors work hard for the students but the school is a rip off and a joke. they are intrested in only one thing and that is money. i was in the cosmetology program for about 6 months and had a circus of problems. the intructors were helpful and were alwasy there for the students. as for the campus president she is not for the students and i feel that a major race issue was involved in the way i was treated and the things that happened on campus were very unneccesary and unreasonable by every standard. i would never reccomened this school to anyone. i completed over 600 clock hours meaning i was halfway thru and i had kept a 4.0 gpa the entire time, now that ive chosen to leave remington college they refuse to release my hours and im forced to take a new student loan and start over at another school. if i had been treated with respect at this school and possibly taught something other then how to make the school money i might of just changed campuses but id rather just start over and leave remngton due to how they work and operate. remington west campus is unethical and greedy. its racist and non developmental towards your chosen career in my truest and most honest opinion. its very hard not saying how i truley feel about this school and still keep myself dignified and professional in all aspets. as i feel i was robbed and cheated and very disheartened about my dream of becoming a stylist. at this point many changes need to be made to this school and the person who has authority there needs to be investigated on her pocedures and protocols and most of all her attitude and mannerisms against students. my biggest issue is when my car was backed into at school. the constable made a report supposedly and ms.brooks did as well. i was told it would be ready within 24hrs and when i called for it to give to insurance company i was given the run around and no phone calls were accepted or returned. the insurance company finally got in contact with her and was told no reports were being made. i called and asked if i could come get statements from witnesses and i was told i could not come to the school. the claim was denied because thast how the drivers nsurance works. so im out of over 1grand gettin my car fixed. tho thats not the reason for my feelings towards remington as there were several incidents and problems with the school and the director as i was made to feel i wasnt good enough to be at her school or in her presence. i paid a 20grand tuiton to feel robbed and mislead and will stop at nothing to get my career and my dream. and thats with no help to remington other then ms.walker. shes the only thing remington has going for them at that campus and someone truley does need to go and look into why the students are not being taught their weak points and only being made to work in their strong points with clients as its a learning institution not a everyday salon. priorities are not in order and its not fair. also the fact that were lied to about our hours and how they can not be taken elsewhere. the only truth in taht is that remington wont release them but they are accepted at other college...wheres the fairness in that? we worked for them so why arent we allowed to keep them? again that campus is a scam and ripoff and the biggest joke ive ever seen and DO NOT recommend to any other fellow students. other campuses might be better but DO NOT attend west campus as you will waste your time and money and chances loosing your dream and ambitions!!! ms. brooks is unprofessional in the way she handles the students and in the way she carries the schools important matters when related to the students!

This man and his followers can go staight to HELL, because of this man they let go one of the most honest recuiter which is mineMs. Shequita. I am only at the school because of her & her integrity. They thinks shes the problem they have no idea what problems they have in that phoney ass director & his faggot ass boyfriends Mike, Ramond & Deante the next time I see them in the sports bar I am going to take a picture of them all hugged up, eww. I wish all of them the worst. Pissed off

I was rushed into signing all the paperwork (signing my life away) I was promised a job and a career. Well i finished school with honors...Presidents list every month! Well i am done with school and i dont qualify to be a medical assistant...why? Real skills for the real world my ass. Not only that...the career services department wont even give me the time of day. I had to harass the lady to even schedule an appointment with me and she did not even show up. While i was attending none of the required equipment even worked, i didnt learn half the stuff i was supposed to because the equipment did not work! Well for 13, 000 a student you would think that they could afford to provide stuff that worked right? So pretty much i have been taken advantage of and robbed of 13K. And i am now in a worse situation than i was before i ever went to school. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL! It is a rip off and they will take your money, time, self esteem and willingness to go back to any school ever!
