At the last minute I had to rent a car while on vacation in Phoenix. I called Saban's (a.k.a. Phoenix Rent a car) on Sunday Aug 1 and got a quote from them. They said the rate was $99.00 for the week. When my niece and I arrived at Saban's I asked what was the difference between the $99 and the $129 per week cars. The man behind the counter said the $129 cars were new. So I asked to be a given a "new" car. What I got was a 5 year old heap of junk.

I drove the car back to my niece's home (approx 3 miles)and then used the car the following morning to go from Phoenix to Tucson and back. On the way back the brakes started to give out and the car repeatedly "jerked" back & forth when driving - the transmission was going. The drive to and from Tucson is approx. 135 miles each way. In total in the one day I had the car it should have been about 300 miles - they claimed I drove 700 miles. I returned the car on Tuesday morning Aug 3 and asked for a better and new car which is what I was told I would have. They gave me another piece of junk and when I told them why am I being given an old car they said take or get the hell out - we charge you anyway.

They charged my credit card twice without my knowledge $200 and then $250. When I returned the car on Aug 8 they changed the amount of the rental from $129 to $189 and added all kinds of other charges when I complained and asked what they were doing the man behind teh counter began to curse at me calling me an F---ing bitch, to F--k myself, for me to get the F--k out of there. I told him I was not raising my voice or cursing at him and why he doing this - he said he could whatever he F--ing wanted and it was his store and for me to get the F--k out before he throws me out the door.

I told him I was going to call my credit card company about this and he said tough F--king luck bitch I already charged our card and I still have the number

They charged over $300 on my credit card, gave me a piece of junk that my daughter and I could have been killed in and being overcharged, lied to to and verbally abused by neanderthals.
