On or about May 2009 I went to craiglist.com to get a room. I came across a site on a site..called Rentasy, they claim to find rooms for cheap even for couples I wasn't sure if this company was legit or what. So I find out the hard way when I gave them $175 deposit and 200 for a room. I was shown room that was for 175 from what I was told by the half spoken English lady. Well the room was 200 bucks. I found out it was not it was 250 a week. Well...The guy told us he was pulling his ad and this company was a scam. What they do is they take your money and then write on pieces of broken down paper different numbers and addresses of people looking for room mates the only problem is it is in the ghetto and none of the people spoke English. None of the places in good areas just the ghetto we were given the run around when I asked for my money this man Omar a giant man he was tried threatening us and gt in my face I took a picture of him and if you want pics...Ill show you they are Dominican immigrants. The office smells of urine and is untidy looks like a walk in closet. I checked them out they have no license to do business on the state of new York website. In New York you need a license to sell property of any kind they have none. This company has switched phone numbers and their address numerous rimes when I contacted BBB.org they still have not answered to this company.
