Warranty Co is out of business
At the urging of the Abe's of Maine salseman who was selling me a Samsung 52" LCD High definition TV and after convincing me that it was the smart thing to do, I reluctantly bought an extended 3 year warranty for in-home repair of my TV . This warranty cost me $399.99. The TV and warranty were purchased in February 2008. The warranty was with the company Repair Tech, Inc out of Iselin, New Jersey. My TV recently started having problems (1 year and 10 months after purchase) and when I attempted to contact Repair Tech all phone numbers were "out of service" and the website was blank. I took my complaint to Abe's of Maine and they told me that Repair Tech went out of business earlier this year, and it wasn't their problem When I asked for some consideration on the cost of the warranty THEY sold me, I was told that Abe's of MAine could and would do NOTHING to compensate me. I was just out of luck. Thanks for the great customer care and service!!

Extended Warranty Rip Off
Repair Tech is a fake extended warranty company, the employees refude to give their real names or last names, managers are always in meetings and their systems are down, cant locate any repair places, never return calls or emails, leave you on hold for 25 to 45 minutes, then hang up on you. They will give you a claim number, but that is as far as it goes. They do not reimburse any repairs or authorize any repairs. I filed a complaint with the BBB in NJ, no responce to the complaint, mail is now being returned. The owner, Joe Saieda is still selling the fake exted warranties online and getting away with it. I urge anyone who has purchased anything from Repair Tech or Joe Saieda, to file a complaint with Consumer Affairs at www.njconsumeraffairs.com or call (973) 504-6534 Do not let this man get away!!!
