Company Gone
I bought a 5-year extended warranty on my 46" Panasonic Plasma TV that I bought from ButterflyPhoto.com for $229 and now I need some service work on my TV and this company is no where to be found. It looks like many other people are having the same problem.
If there is a class-action suit I would like to be included. Please let me know what I need to do.

Broken TV
Hello,
I purchased a 5 year warranty for my big screen tv.
item #12850150
Membership # 128501501437751

Now that my TV is broken i see that Repairtech is now out of business.
I was worried AFTER i purchased the extended protection plan, because for a warranty co. they didn't even spell warranty correctly on THEIR WEBSITE I had to correct them.

I have emails from Stacy Weekes who was there customer service rep.
I believe this was just a very elaborate scam!!

I would like to know what can be done to fix my TV.
Please contact me ASAP!
Happy new year,
thanks,

Warranty
This warranty company has flown the coop and has taken their(actually I mean our) money and are no where to be found. I had two years left on my warranty and now I have to pay for repairs myself because this company has just decided to close. It's hard to believe these companies can do this to us and there's nothing we can do about it! Wow is all I can say!!

No where to be found
I purschased a Large Screen TV in May of 2006, and purchased a 5 year warranty through Repair Tech, Inc. I had a lamp on the TV go bad and contacted them a few months ago. Of course this was a part that they didn't cover. Now I have another problem with the same TV and have been trying to contact them about it and guess what? There 888-877-800 numbers are no longer in service. When I go to their website you get nothing but a white screen?
In other wards, they have flown the coop and I am going to be stuck paying for the repairs myself and I'm also out the money that I paid for the warranty. This is another example of how companies close and we are stuck paying for it with no other recourse available to us. Man am I every upset! What a country!

warranty scams?
Everyone MUST call FTC: 1-877-382-4357, register complaint..they will pursue and do class action suit if enuff complaints. Call and REGISTER complaint with New Jersey OCP 1-973-504-6200(Atty General Office). Also, call YOUR STATE atty general office and make formal/registered complaint. In Florida they are not allowed to even sell warranties. Call your news channels for air time exposure. If we work together we can get Repairtech to refund or make good their apparent fraud and loss of trust.

Warranty Issue
I sent repairtech a lamp for a Sony projector which I bought a warranty for 3 lamp replacements. They received the lamp on Nov 12 (almost 3 weeks ago) and I have yet to be able to get any information regarding my claim except they received it. Every time I call the 'systems' are down and they can't look at my information or they transfer me to another number in which I get a voicemail which is never returned. Voicemails and emails go unanswered. The email I received with the instructions on how to get the replacement said that a new lamp would be sent within 3-5 buiness days of receiving the old one. We are now working on almost 14 business days since that. I would never buy another warranty from this company!! I would rather buy the lamps at $250 a piece than deal with this terrible company again!
They have by far the worst customer service of any company I've ever had to deal with!!
