Fraudulent practices and billing
What a scam! Don't sign up with these lying, cheating people! After 2 trials, I cancelled 17 times! for false leads, and they kept billing me! It's been a war over 3 months, and they've now charged my credit card over $800...for NOTHING! Don't listen to anything they have to say! They should be arrested for this fradulent behavior!

Michael Foreman, salesman with Reply!, called to sell our company real estate leads. I spoke with him on 4/2/2009 when 3 individuals in our office were available to listen to his proposal. He stated that the service worked as follows:
I was to receive 12 leads every month. Mr. Foreman also stated that the leads would be spread out and that I would receive only 3 per week at the most. Reply! was to notify me of these leads by sending me an e-mail and a text message to my cell phone. There is no contract, just a one time fee of $100 and $54 for each valid lead. Within 72 hours I was to determine the validity of the lead. If I believed they were a good seller/buyer I need not respond. If I determined they were a bad contact (wrong information, etc.) than I was to reply to the notice within 72 hours notifying them that I rejected the lead to avoid the $54 fee which would be charged every other week. On 4/2/09, based on these promises presented in the sales presentation we signed up for the service for $100.00.
The moment that he had our credit card number everything went down hill. The next day I received one text message and went to the office the next day to look at the e-mail version of the contact. When I logged onto my e-mail there was no e-mail matching the text that I had received. However, there were 2 other e-mails in my inbox that were never sent to me by text message. That alarmed me right away so I went to Reply! Real Estate’s web-site and logged in to our account. What I found was appalling; according to their company they had already sent me 8 leads listed in a column that reported I had received all of them. That’s 8 leads just from 4/2/2009 to 4/4/2009. I tried to call Michael Foreman (and still have tried to this day) and have never been able to make contact with him except to leave messages for a return call. He has not returned any calls. The worst part of this situation is that I never got all the e-mails to reject the leads, therefore there is nothing at all to stop them from charging me $54 for each of those “leads”. On that same day I replied to the 3 e-mails that I did have saying “CANCEL OUR ACCOUNT NOW! ON THE WEBSITE IT SAYS THAT YOU HAVE SENT ME 8 PROSPECTS BUT I ONLY HAVE 3 E-MAILS AND 2 TEXT MESSAGES.”
In summary:
1) They stated that I would only receive 12 leads a month and that they would not all come at once. We signed up on 4/2/09 and by 4/4/09 Reply! had loaded 8 “leads” according to their website.
2) They said that I would get notified each time they sent a lead prospect via text message to my cell phone, yet I have only received 2 out of the 8 “leads”.
3) You are to be able to turn down any prospect by responding to the e-mails but I have only received 3 e-mails, therefore I am not able to reject any of them leaving them to charge me $54 for each one and they still charged for the 3 that I did reject.
4) Reply! acknowledged our cancellation of 4/4/9 yet billed 3 leads on the 4/4/9 and 4 additional on the 4/5/9.
At worst this company is scamming clients, at best they just have a very irresponsible sales and customer service department.
Sincerely,
Vanessa Hodges
