Reply Real Estate Reviews

Fraud
I was contacted by a very friendly woman who was telling me a Reply Real Estate and all the leads I could get at $54 each. She explained that if they were not intersted, had another realtor, or just wee not valid I could return the leads and not be charged. If I was unhappy then I could terminate the agree with 30 days notice. 4 days into I realized the leads were not worth the money because not one was interested in buying or selling or they already were working with a realtor. I terminated and sent back leads for credit. in the 30 daays that followed they continued to send me leads that wer not any good. I continued to call them and give them back throught there email system for credit. I received a total 0f 16 invalid leads. 30 days after I terminated the billed my credit card $384.65. I disputed the claim with my credit card co CapitalOne and sent them a paper trail of emails that validated my claim. Now Capitalone is rebilling me because of some bogus information they received from Reply Real Estate. My next step is file a complaint woth the Texas Attroney General. I have been a realtor for 7 years and I know how to work leads that are viable.

Unauthorized Credit Card Charges
This company has overcharged me by $949!?!!?
What am I supposed to do about this?
It was withdrawn from a checking account, I don’t think I can get the money back any way other than them agreeing to cut me a refund check.
Any suggestions?

their promise to me:

Fraud
No question, Reply Real Estate is committing fraud. Beware. I was told that I would only be charged for leads that I agreed were qualified and this was not the case. Plus the leads sucked. They had been sold to countless agents prior to me as I was informed so by the leads that did have valid phone numbers. I've had to cancel my credit card to avoid further fraudulent charges. Beware... and good luck!

Total Scam
Talk about a lack of ethics! Reply.com completely misrepresents themselves!

I was contacted by Reply.com and asked if I was interested in paying for "qualified leads". They said I would only pay $54 if the lead was good and, if not, I could send it back to them. I would receive up to 8 leads per month and I would have 72 hours to send the lead back.

Reply.com claimed that the leads were found online and that they were qualified because the leads clicked an icon that said "Connect with a local realtor". I was assured that the leads were actually asking to be contacted.

After contacting a few leads and having them tell me that they did not ask to be contacted, I tried to receive a credit. I was told by Reply that they were not responsible if a lead had a change of heart and were no longer interested. They again assured me that the leads were asking to be contacted by a realtor.

So, I asked the Reply representative to walk me through the online qualifying process. It was nothing like they described!!! Basically, for people to search certain real estate websites, they were asked to register. At the bottom of the registration, there was a disclaimer saying that the information would be forwarded to a realtor. The Reply rep said this was the same thing as asking for a realtor to contact them directly!

They refused to credit me and insisted that the leads were qualified. I would not have a problem with this company if they described the process accurately. However, they completely misrepresented themselves and the quality of the leads. In addition, if you receive a credit for a lead, they immediately replace the lead with another one. So, if you are signed up to receive 8 leads per month...you basically must pay $432 per month because they will just keep sending you more and more leads.

I really do not like this company and will not be doing business with them!

Garbage leads
I found this site while looking for viable ways to generate leads. The gentleman who contacted me after I had been on their site, promised that any "bad" leads could be returned for full credit. After many minutes on the phone trying to clarify what would constitute a bad lead, I felt comfortable giving it a try.

Long story short, I was sent buyers that clearly indicated right on the referral that they had poor credit and I couldn't qualify them with a lender. My feeling was that it was a bad lead, however, my request for a refund was refused with Reply saying they could only guarantee names and numbers. Other calls resulted in being hung up on and heck, I can get that for free! Beware!

Real estate leads scam
I should have checked here first. If it seems too good to be true... Still waiting for a call from Adam Carabetta, sales manager/director regarding refund for bogus leads. After reading the complaints here, I don't expect him to call. None of the leads they supplied me were from people who actually wanted to sell their home. I canceled about 5 days after joining (both times over the phone) when I realized that a good lead could cost me $5, 000-10, 000 for all of the bogus leads that I would have to wade through. Call you credit card company right away to dispute the charges; it will give conditional credit until they receive your complaint in writing (Citigroup). I am calling the Calif attorney generals office next. I thought that I was smarter than this; apparently not. Stupid me.

Real Estate Sales Leads
Company called to offer to send me sales leads; see my email to them as follows; they can bill for invalid leads at any time:

Gentlemen: You are directed to cancel my account that was set up earlier today and not make any charges to the credit card I provided you. Your terms and conditions are substantially different than was quoted by your sales rep David Stark today. He assured me that there would be no setup or monthly fees for the life of my enrollment and that any transaction with a prospect could be cancelled within 72 hours. None of those statements are correct according to the terms and conditions, which I was NOT allowed to view until you obtained my credit card authorization. Furthermore, Mr. Stark said he would immediately email me with a confirmation of our conversation which he did not do. Please respond to this email with a confirmation that you have cancelled my account.

Fraud!
Stay away if this company contacts you! You can find quality prospects yourself for much less money! The leads they send are not quality leads at all. I have received 4 leads and can't contact 3 of them. Two of the "Buyer" leads stated they have "Fair" credit. Well "Fair" credit in todays market can not be considered a qualified lead! Their selling tactics are deceptive. When I got my confirmation e-mail was when all the facts became clear. I called them back within minutes of signing up and asked to cancel. Even after a very heated conversation with them, they refused to allow me to cancel immediatly. They told me I had to stay in the program for 30 days. When I called my credit card company and asked if I could block the charges from this fraudulent company, I was told no. I am still fighting this battle. Save yourself the aggravation, say NO! when they call you.

Scammers
In the real estate business there are always companies trying to sell you something. I pride myself on not falling for most scams, unfortunately, this one I did. Reply Real Estate contacts you stating they have various method for gathering high quality leads on the Internet from consumers wanting to buy or sell a home. They state for a fee ($55.00 per lead) they will send the leads to you. In my case, they agreed to wave the monthly service fee. I agreed to try the service. They ask for a credit card number 'just to verify' the account. Then they start sending you leads. You have 72-hours to verify the lead and request a credit or a replacement.

During the 3 weeks I tried the service, I received 14 leads. Of the 14, I was only able to contact 3 of the leads, others had inaccurate contact information. Of those I spoke to, NONE of the contacts were interested in purchasing or selling a property. All of them were simply doing research on the web. After the first 2 weeks, my requests for a credit or a replacement were denied because Reply said they could not guarantee the quality of the lead and they do not credit leads that do not respond. I called to talk to my account rep and he said it wasn't his department. In the end, I cancelled the service. I then found out after I contacted my bank that Reply Real Estate had charged my credit card hundreds of dollars in unathorized charges. Luckily, my bank is now fighting the charges on my behalf.

Stay away from this company if they contact you. They are simply a new scam.
