Similar to another complaint on this site ... i was hit by a U-haul truck ... Renter paid for insurance, was deeply sorry (sh*t happens)... The driver admitedly was 100% at fault . He backed into my car, not used to the large profile of the truck he was controlling . So now i have a car i just bought with body damage to the back left door ... ok down to the problem .

I call Republic Western Insurance Company to start a claim ...I have provided all the info necessary ... including the drivers license number of the individual that hit me ...

I have received only hard ball threats ( "Questions have arose on the ownership of the vehicle from our Special Investigation Unit. Nevada records are showing this vehicle was sold in January 2010 to a different person." -Martha Chester-

I have called this company 3 times so far(months time) weekdays and weekends received only 1 email accusing me of not owning my vehicle, Have contacted my rep on 1 occasion, so i passed the responsibility to my wife to keep on top of this, as i have no time for the run around .

on the latest instance, she was told that they are investigating rather or not to give us "junk yard price"(-Martha Chester-
Republic Western Rep) of the car instead of paying for the damages inflicted, this being a 2005 car i paid for with cash.

ps: on a lighter note i found this interesting article in which it seems there are a lot of complaints regarding u-haul and repwest, and it seems the CEO of u-haul has given his cellphone to the public for complaints ... so id thought i would pass it along ... i will be calling
