Timeshare sale scam
A man named Jim Brady (866-735-0044) sent me a contract guarantying the sale of my Wynham timeshare in 45-60 days for $450 (and if not, my money would be returned). Now he is AWOL. The website has disappeared, the phone number is out of service and the 866 number is answered by a company with another name and you can leave a message, but no one ever calls back. OK, I blew it and allowed them to scam me. Watch out!

SELLING TIMESHARE
I was contacted by in February 2008, Jim Brady from Resort Resales, stating he had a buyer for all four of my timeshare properties. He stated that they had bought my contract from Copeland Marketing and that this deal would close in 45 days. I sent a check for $800.00 on 3/15/08 and have not heard a word since. I have left several messages, all unreturned and today when I tried again, the voicemail system was full. I don't understand how these companies continue to operate, but I guess the fool is me for believing.

TIMESHARE RESALE SCAM
My 85 year old father was contacted about selling his timeshare by Bill Ellis with the usual scam of selling the unit with a block of units and it would sell within 6 months or your money back. $800 credit card charge was given to him. 3 months went by and no sale. We were unable to reach him by phone and had to contact the credit card company to reverse the charges which they did. Unfortunately, another man contacted my father and said he used to work with that company but had left there and that my father's unit would have been sold but he had reversed the charges before the sale went through. He offered to complete the sale if we sent him a "check" for $800 because they wouldn't accept a credit card from us any longer. He said he had a sale of the "units" pending for the middle of April. When we tried to contact him at the number he gave us it had been disconnected and the website is no longer in existence. We now know that Jim Hawkins and Bill Ellis are just scam artists. Everyone should beware!!!

Failure to honor Contract
Bill Elis contacted us via phone asking if we wanted to sell our timeshare over the internet for a $99 dollar refundable fee if the timeshare was not sold in 9 months. Did not hear from him till November 2007 about 13 months later. Said he had a buyer and wanted to know if I was still interested. Sent over a contract agreement and for us to send him a one time processing fee of $900 back in november 23rd of 2007. Never heard from him again. I feel they ran off with my money, ripped me off.

Timeshare Resale
These people are scam artists. Do not believe them. Do not send money. They guarantee a sale. They have a buyer. It is all lies. The tell you 45-60 days. Then it become 45-60 business days. Then you get nothing. No return call. Zip. Just don't do it.

Failure to honor contract!
On December 13, 2007 a company representative, Bill Elis, called and asked if we would be interested in selling our timeshare property at Grand Desert in Las Vegas. He later faxed an agreement/contract where we would pay a "one time processing fee of $475.00". The check cleared our account on January 7, 2008. In return for this payment the sale of our property would be completed in "45-60 days". I called Mid-February to inquire about the status of the sale and a woman returned the called and told my wife that "everything was on track". I called on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 and left a message reminding them that the 60 days was up on March 7th. I man returned my call at 8:34pm CST as he was "heading out the door" (therefore I could not call him back - as I was in a meeting )and told my wife that it was going to be April 1-15th before the purchase could be completed. Since that time, no one has returned my calls or e-mails.
At this point, I believe Resort Resales has stolen our money and will never live up to their agreement.
