Got email about a free offer supported by Dr. Oz, Oprah, and 60 Minutes videos. Clicked on site to get free trail of ResVPure, a resveratrol supplement, and gave my credit card # to cover $4.99 shipping and handling. No info anywhere saying that I was signing up for a program. Well ... within one month, I had 4 charges of over $80. to my credit card, and now they're trying to say that by agreeing to the 14-day free trail offer, I had signed up for the program. It never said anything about agreeing for more to be sent to me. Here it is, 6 weeks later, and I have not gotten any other than the original trail sample bottle, but have gotten four separate charges (from $79.69 to $85.26) with all slightly different company names (ResV Pure, 5. ResVPure.com, 5.PureRexPro, and ResVPure.com.
My credit card company is now working to try to get my money back, and from what I've heard, it's happened to thousands and thousands of people who were impressed by what Oprah, Dr. Oz, and 60 Minutes had to say about the product and agreed to a free sample.
I've now found out that these supplements have a high dose of caffeine, and if you want, you can go get truly pure resveratrol supplements at any drug store or health food store, for around $9.
