On July 18, 2009 I ordered Resveratrol ultra and a colon cleanse product on a FREE Trial offer and all I had to pay was $.99 shipping and handling for each product. On August 9, 2009 I was checking my credit card statement online to discover that I had been charged twice for $87.13 and once for $74.62 (for the colon cleanse). I immediately called the company only to be told that "nothing is free" and I had to abide by the terms and conditions. I asked where the terms and conditions were and was told they were in small print at the bottom of the web page. At no time during the ordering process was I referred to or asked to approve any terms and conditions. They refused to refund my money. I wasn't worried though because I just knew my credit card company (Capital One) would stand up for me against this scam. I immediately closed out that credit card so they could not charge me for anything else and had Capital One issue me a new card. I also filed a dispute with Capital One over the charges. After almost 2 months of faxing information to Capital One I was told that the Capital One Bank usually sides with the merchant and it was my fault for not reading the terms and conditions. Who would think there were terms and conditions on a FREE Trial offer. Capital One stated they were only a billing agent and would not stand up for me against this merchant. I am almost as mad at Capital One as I am against the fraudulent merchant and I'm out of $248.00 with no one to help me. Choose wisely when you pick a credit card company. When my card is paid up I will close it and never will I deal with Capital One again. Faye
