I was contacted by Doria Drain of Revival Performance for a contract Instructional Design position in May of 2008. Doria was hiring people to subcontract for another subcontractor on an e-learning project.
I followed her specified billing procedures and billed for the hours that I worked. The amount that I billed was approved and paid to her by the contractor above her.
However, she then devised a deceptive percent calculation procedure to reduce my pay by half. It took repeated contact over a period of months to even collect the lower payment. While trying to collect my payment, I learned that she was, in fact, paid for the full amount that I billed.
Even though my hours were approved and paid by the contractor above her, she refused to pay the difference. She has ignored all communication attempts since.
Throughout this ordeal I have learned that many other Instructional Designers were either underpaid or not paid at all by Doria Drain of Revival Performance.
I would not recommend doing business with Doria Drain of Revival Performance under any circumstances.
