Fraud and cheating
For all of you who may have purchased from Revolution RV and found them in out of business, here is some vital info. We purchased a trailer and where lucky, we got it the Monday after they closed (9/8) in Ramona. Of course no tow package, parts not installed (but we got them!), no walk through, extended warranty, etc. Had to go down the street for hitch, brake control, sway bar, etc. Out even more $$$. Got our license plates three days ago! Whew.
So Revolution had an insurance bond to do business in CA.

Awful everything
My husband and I bought a toy hauler from them in November of 06. We had nothing but trouble with their sales office, John the sales manager (Rude!), service... and had to talk to Rod, the owner, directly to resolve anything. George Gilbert, the other owner, was of no help. We dealt with: the wrong invertor installed, 3 week delay on service, a walk through with someone who barely knew how to turn on the lights in the fifth wheel, several non- working components in the fifth-wheel, and many, many empty promises. These people would blame anyone and everyone rather than take responsibility for their own company's mistakes. We had to threaten the owners with calling the news to get any resolve. We got most of what we had coming to us repaired and didn't go back. It sounds like matters just got worse... good luck to everyone who is out money.

Terrible experience
After lots of research, here is what I found out, any taxes owed are paid 1st. Weather it be state or federal taxes and I suspect there are many of both owed, DMV fees, etc. 2nd are the employee back wages and of course bounced checks, yes we can win a law suit but there needs to be money found in order to collect. Keep in mind the government gets their share first, if there is any remaining money, the employees are the next paid; This is fact!
Multi Million Dollar company's such as GE or Textron will be low on the totem poll. Judges will look at who needs the money more...
Attorneys will not take such a case unless they know they can get paid, you can't bleed blood out of a rock. I believe the government is out more money than these guys have hiding. Employees need to file a claim with the labor relations "government" and hope there is money remaining, at the least, there is a tax break because of back wages not paid; Needs to be done now.
YES we can win a class action law suit but if there is no money, we will not be paid. This whole thing was carefully planned out and executed weeks in advance of us knowing what was happening. They covered their butts well but the government WILL find their assets. I can't believe they are still in San Diego County, that takes balls. Someone will run into these guys at a super market or mall in north county. Keep posting to the web to expose these guys. They have not filed for BK, in fact George Gilbert filed BK 5 years ago and can't file in the near future but he will "show" he has no money.
ADP is a reputable payroll company and was also duped, they will also be going after these guys for depositing the payroll into the ADP account and withdrawing the monies after the checks were cut.

Scam and cheating
This is George Gilbert, he lives in Valley Center, Escondido. He is the Ex Owner of Revolution RV and does not want to pay his employee's and even bounced their last checks that were even less than the amount they should have been paid. He did not pay child support for his daughter Brittany and is still living the high life.
While customer and ex employees suffer, he has a great life in Valley Center. We are all victims of this man and can only hope that the law deals him what he deserves.
No longer driving a Mercedes G class but instead a Toyota Tacoma "white" pickup. was arrested 2 months ago for a DUI and beating up a police officer.

Awful experience
This is my first post, it needs to be said. We had the BEST sales force ever put together from the manager to the sales team. And we proved it by the numbers that we did. I prey that you all find great jobs because you deserve it. You all gave the extra effort to make the sale and help the customers to your fullest. You did!
It is unfortunate that you had no support from the business office or service department. I first blame the owners for their greed and not paying their vendors and leaving service in a bad situation by not being able to obtain parts and having to delay deliveries for flooring issues.
Yes we "sales" did our jobs, we loved our jobs, our customers and we were the best, the economy did play a part in our down fall but it is also true that we had to deal with one owner that was dysfunctional in many ways and a business office that did not know how to handle budgets or forecast for the slow months. Granted this company was a cash hog, it could have been managed better.
There is so much more I want to tell you but I can't at this time, I love you all and I am working on helping you collect the monies you are owed. This includes the service department that had their hands tied.

Scam and cheating
I love you all and I am working on helping you collect the monies you are owed. This includes the service department that had their hands tied and even worked with no pay after the company closed its doors. I hope all of you learned from this experience and will be better prepared in the future, I certainly learned a lot. Also, I hope the customers that did not get all the services they paid for can get some resolve for their purchases. I know that some of you worked hard and saved for a lifetime for this purchase of your new RV's.
We all need to help each other because we are good people and we love the spirit of being out in the open land with our families and friends, desert, river, beach or just camping we all love to get out there and make memories for a lifetime.
This post should come from the owners but that's not going to happen. Please don't blame the sales or service staff, we did our part, we did our best, in fact we were your best supporters but our hands were tied. Most of our employee's were very good church going people from several different religions, but all good people.
You will all be great employee's for some company in the future or perhaps even opening your own businesses.

Terrible company
All of this hype is absolutely ridiculous. Revolution Rv is just another unfortunate business who couldn't get a handle on things. From what I know, this business was a dual partnership, which for those of you who don't know means that Two people, yes, people, owned this business. Two people that are now money less, with families mind you, jobless, credit less, and if they do file a bk like you say, possibly homeless. I had a business not to long ago that failed, and it is an awful thing to endure. You have to choose between your customers and employees, or your family. Which would you pick? You all act like they have the money to just hand it to you and say I'm sorry! How do they give you something they don't have? They probably just got in over their heads and lost a grip on it. Very sad. I am very sad for all of you and your losses but remember we are all people. It makes my stomach hurt to see this. The effort Rev Rv went through to deliver my trailer to me was excellent, and although we hit a few bumps in the road, I appreciate them.

We will be up and running soon in a new location and new name: Valley RV... I hope some of you can come on down and look at our selection of new and used trailers. Our new lot will be in Lakeside and we will now have service on the same lot as sales. We are looking forward to getting the same great reputation started and making the customer number one... Awful experience
Want everyone to know this, Without mentioning his name, the employee that was on channel 10 news last night was just threatened to keep his mouth shut. Now the gloves are off, I want everyone to know about this in case something happens to him. 3 thugs came onto the property where he is staying and told him not to talk to reporters in the future.
One of the thugs was playing with a switch blade. They had a new Chevy 1 ton truck. I will not let anything happen to any employee for doing the right thing. Just want to leave a paper trail of the latest event. These guys are bad news.
Also, a report was filed with the North County Sheriff's department.
